||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When trying this out at an outdoor car show, all the pictures came back very blurry or otherwise washed from the sunlight out if they weren't blurry. Night pictures are even worse. I find myself taking a picture of a box just about five feet away and large block letters come out extremely blurry. No matter what I did with this camera, it was always a pretty bad result. Both the iPhone and Android phones I've had in the past have taken better quality pictures, and I was hoping to get something slim with better quality. Unfortunately, this just didn't cut it.

Great little easy-to-carry camera

Easy to use and nice for every-day photos as well as for special occasions. It is just the right size to take when traveling too; compact enough to carry all day! It seems to register photos more slowly than my previous Sony Cyber-Shot; however, the quality of the photos is better.

Slow processor

It has to charge first. Camera has a slow process speed. Although it has more pixels than my 7 year old camera, I prefer my older one. Good starter camer, but look else where, not worth the price.

Posted .Hi getnoname, You need an AC adaptor AC-UD10 (sold separately) or an AC-UD11 (sold separately) to supply power from a wall outlet (wall socket) while shooting. You may try resetting the camera settings by going to MENU - (Settings) - (Main Settings) - [Initialize] to isolate the slow performance.

Doesn't take good pictures

If there is the slightest bit of movement the pictures are blurry. Spend a little more and get a better camera. I returned this and purchased a Sony cybershot DSC-WX350 that works great!

Very disappointed that Sony products are no longer living up to their reputation.
