Bought this in a pinch. It was open boxed. Not even the camera per the discription. It is an older version. OK point and shoot. No bells and whistles.

Light weight, cheaply made. It would not charge because the little door would not close all the way. Save the extra money and buy a better camera

Camera resolution was okay but not great. Size of screen was decent but wasn't satisfied with picture quality

Lens curtain keeps sticking and the quality of the photos are so,so. Should have stuck with a Canon camera.

Don't waste your money. You would think Sony would be good. What a piece of craps gave it to my girlfriend when see turned it on the picture quality is terrible!!! Gave it to the 5 year old as a toy

I purchased this camera for a birthday gift. The camera is not good in my opinion. The camera does not zoom in very close. I want to return it but I only had a few days to do that as it was a gift. I want to return the camera, but I cannot. Very disappointed with the camera and Best Buy's return policy.

Hard to use & my phone takes better pictures. Wast of money because I use my phone instead...

Good for a simple picture nothing far or fancy poses not clear pictures

I was so disappointed but going to return it. Its too small and my pictures wasnt clear at all plus it took forever for it to load up on the camera. Maybe i will buy a different camera made by Sony.

The time between when you cluck to take picture and are able to take another is very long. Also there was no charging cable and does not take a normal cable

Nothing great about this camera, takes low quality pictures, get what you pay for.

I have had it with your bagering me with constant e-mails that I do not want. If you persist I will not ever make another purchase from Best Buy. I will also discourage family and friends to do the same. STOP SENDING ME E-MAILS!

It’s steel working but quality poor this product no recomend

I bought this for my trip abroad. I wanted something that was compact but had some of the features of my DSLR. It served that purpose well, but my rating considers beyond the simple point and shoot application. There are half dozen scene selection modes that I assume take care of the ISO, aperture settings, white balance, etc. Since there is no manual, that's a guess. If one wants to get max use of the features of the camera, it is suggested that you download a manual from the net. I did not have to load any special Sony software to download the pix. Plug and play as it were. The menu allows you to make some manual adjustments but that's time consuming since you have to hunt for them from the many menu screens. The telephoto worked as advertised; especially, with the image stabilization. But the farther one shoots the less crisp the photo is. There are some annoying features. It takes too long to get from one shot to the next. The on/off button has to have some finger pressure on for it to work. That is way overboard for the prevention of accidentally turning it on. The shutter button is rectangular instead of the standard round one and it's flush with the case which makes for having to hunt for it. Although the lighting and color balance was really good, many of my shots at 400 ISO and a few at 200 were not crisp. I had to sharpen them with photo software. I took one video that was just OK quality but then it's 720p. For what you get for the price, it's a good little camera if you just want point and shot on auto or just stick with the normal scene selection modes.

It was advertised an open box. Totally worthless. No cables, instructions and the lens was was extended and no batteries. Total piece of junk. Returned the item the next day.

This is Junk. Do not buy this. There is no rapid succession. You take a picture, and wait. So, if you have time to 'stage the scene', then wait for the camera to decide to take the photo, this camera is for you. JUNK!

Very slow in locking the focus and taking the picture

I have two Sony DSLR Alpha Series cameras. Wanted a camera that I could carry all of the time. Evaluated Sony, Canon and Nikon in this price range. Sony had the same specifications as the other two, but a few things they didn't. This is my second W-380. The first one took terrible pictures. Best Buy exchanged it for another and I'm satisfied with the results. Other reviews on the Canon and Nikon showed the same results, hit and miss. As there is no shutter speed adjustment, photos of moving subjects is poor. Photos of my grandson are impossible. By the time slow focusing and shutter lag take place, he isn't there. It's great for still life/scenes as there are a multitude of manual settings to use. You can charge it using a PC or any portable phone charger which is very nice. After setup, you can use it right out of the box on 'Intelligent Auto'.Or use the 'Program' mode for different settings. Would I buy it again ? Yes....... Good camera with limitations.... Pro: Light weight, easy to use after set up, charge from PC or phone charger, quick to start, adequate battery life, tripod mount. Con: Terrible shutter lag, slow to focus, NOT to be used on a moving subject except in movie mode as there is no shutter speed adjustment.

i bought this camera like one month ago and today its not possible to pu the memory card inside ... the camera is also very slow (slow shutter speed )on recording the pictures.... I regret a lot buying this camera....

The screen is terrible to monitor pics taken, very blurry
