Good Earbuds For The Price

Many models just go over the ear; these go completely around it and stay snug. Need to adjust for comfort, but once set, they work well.

Poor Sound and Design

Also, the design of the buds are very specific to certain ear structure, meaning, the earbuds do not fit well all ear types. Additionally, the speaker faces forward and inward as most buds do. A true disappointment for me.

I run everyday and can't use silicon budded earphones anymore because they fall out of my ears and don't stay in my ears. I discovered these let's say about a year ago. I like them quite a bit. They're very easy to use and contour to your ear and don't have silicon. They aren't the best quality but they work very well for what I need. Pros: Very easy to use and malleable -Decent quality for sport headphones -Last a decent amount of time -Don't agitate your ear Good for a basic running sport earphone Cons: -No bass addititves -No special sound features -Literally a basic sport earphone -Can be prone to sweat damage after approximately 2-3 consistent seasons of athletisism and sound begins to disappear

The downside is the awkward and I would say uncomfortable/tight fit. I never considered myself as having large ears but these headphones made me self-conscious that I might have them. For occasional use I get by, but longer than 20 minute or so and they actually begin to hurt - but good sound quality when they don't hurt. Take the good with the bad

Posted .Hi Daniel, thanks for letting us know about your concern. There are a couple of reasons why your ears may hurt when putting on headphones and/or wearing them:
- During dry season, you may experience a tingle in your ear when putting headphones on.
NOTE: This is normal as long as the tingle is quick and does not last.
- Having unusually dry skin can store static electricity in humans. A large amount of static electricity in the body and having contact with electrical devices at the same time can cause a stress on the device and/or on your body.
NOTE: You can avoid this from happening by wearing clothing of natural materials which cannot store static electricity.
- The design may not fit your head and/or ears. They may be too big, too small or too tight.
NOTE: Try different designs and shapes to find one that fits comfortably.
- You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue.
NOTE: Try lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while.

Too much treble
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones, and returned them for a different set of Sony headphones: the sony step-up headphones. My big complaint with these headphones is that there was too much treble. No matter what setting I put for my itunes, the treble hurt my ears, and there wasn't enough bass. If you're looking for a good pair of Sony headphones, I would skip these and get the step-up headphones instead.

If you sweat they slip out of your ears and any sweat completely muffles the sound. Dont take my word, search the web and even sony's website. These look good but in use they are j-u-n-k.
