When I put these on I was getting ready to have my ears blown away, to my disappointment my $0.99 buds from ABC discount store is extremely louder than these fancy buds. Save your $20 and skip these buds, the sound quality is too low. Stylish? Yes Comfortable? Yes Loud Sound? Keeps you waiting...too low.

He has very sensitive ears and these were perfect. They stay on and their angled connector makes them ideal to use the whole unit in his pocket. I'm buying a second one for a back-up.
