Wonderful, clear sound with a wide range of audio. The bass is "boosted" but it doesn't overpower the high end. It comes with different sized padded "buds" for your particular ear which is nice. They aren't the hard plastic ones which come with a cell phone. They are soft and stay in your ear, whether you are on a run or sitting at your desk all day. While they don't specify it, and I don't believe them to be; when in, and you are using them, it almost feels like you've go a pair of noise cancelling headphones on. I'm thinking about getting another pair for myself. These were for my spouse, but I liked them that much! I've used Sony products all my life and they have always been a solid brand with a long history.

I was impressed with these headphones. Solid range of sound and good bass in them. However, they don't stay in my ears too well, using them at the gym is kind of annoying. Also if you have an Android phone the in-line controls don't do anything but pause. After a while they really hurt my ears too.

My daughter was having trouble because she purchased a Sony Xperia phone and her Beats earbuds were not working so we exchanged the phone but the problem continued so I realized that maybe it was the earbuds and I bought this ones because of the great reviews I read. The problem was solved and the earbuds work great and look great so now I am a happy mom.

I bought these for my 12yr old daughter to use with her IPAD. First, she was drawn to the attractive color. Second, she loved the size of them...not to big...not to small. Now that she has had several months of use, I asked if she still likes them and she stated, "I love them! And I love the extra base." There you have it....I believe that says it all.

The frequency response of 4-24,000 HZ on these mini earbuds are compatible to high quality studio headphones. They bring bring out the best sound in high, mid and low range. I've tried several earbuds and the Sony MDRXB50 are the only ones I like, and I am a seasoned guitar player.

I love being able to get these earbuds in several different colors! Sound quality not quite as good as high end earbuds costing 2x as much, but does the job.

The microphone on these earbuds is unreal - the audio quality is amazing and it's great at capturing my voice without any background noise getting through. I'm not a huge fan of earbuds because my canals aren't uniformly shaped, so I greatly appreciate the inclusion of multiple shapes and sizes of interchangeable earbuds.
