Very nice Sony ear buds. I am using them while riding my road bike and they sound surprisingly good. Bass is good, not overpowering. Overall well balanced sound quality. No problems with ear buds coming out at any time, even on two hour rides. Recommend highly.

Overall great sound and def loud enough with good bass. I also own wireless beats and these are louder with better bass just not as crisp

Very good headphones for talking on the phone and listening to music. I use these daily and they're extremely comfortable, great sound with the phone, never had a complaint about the sound from the microphone and the bass is fantastic when listening to music.

Great earbuds for canceling out noise and love the sound quality. The earbuds also fits and stays well in my ears. Reasonably priced.

These earbuds have a good sound to them, probably focus more on the bass than true sound reproduction, but thats what a lot of people like I think. The cord is very long and they seem to stay in your ear very well. It comes with a little carrying pouch to keep them in which is nice to keep the cord from getting tangled.

First off, get these and thank me later. Now the rest is just the reason why. I am a music lover from way back and I like my music loud, clear, distortion free. I've tried dozens of headphones, earbuds, bluetooth and wired. Paid hundreds of dollars for a pair, and as little as 10 dollars a pair. I'm on my second pair of sonys now. (first pair was destroyed at work, oilfield life) These sonys have the sound quality I love, deep bass, clear vocals, and great overall sound. They're also comfortable in the ear. They come with 3 different rubber sizes for the earpiece and stay in place fairly well during exercise and or heavy work. I use them a lot while working and they help shut out even the loudest noises. Tried going with more expensive, and wireless buds after my last pair, and was disappointed, I will continue to search for the perfect pair, but for now I will have to get a second pair of these sonys, just incase. Highly recommend these earbuds.

I have reviewed many earbuds, and in terms of frequency response, clarity, and depth of bass, these are by far the best I have tried . They are better than the DRE BEATS cra-p, and equal quality to the BOSE earbuds. They are able to be used for long periods, and have a one touch button, and don't tangle with the cord they use. I would recommend to anyone wanting to spend 50$ on a pair. Perfection. Thanks Sony

As advertised, extra bass. Lows are resonant without overpowering the mids and highs ... which are fully represented as well. Very comfortable and durable and phone mic works perfectly (actually, better than the handset alone!). In sum, a great value. An unqualified "yes".

The Sony MDRXB50AP/B are definitely a very excellent choice if what you are looking for is strong, clear bass. It does overwhelm the mids a bit but the highs are still very present. I do like them, especially when listening to pop and movies on the go. They give pretty good passive noise reduction for when you are commuting (I use the subway and they work great). The headphones themselves are a bit heavy and awkward but you will get adjusted rather fast. I would not recommend them for running or active exercising though as they fall off quite easily and I personally don't like the "echo" effect of most in-ear tips and like to hear my surroundings. For that I use open-air headsets. But again, my enjoyment of movies, mobile videogames and certain music while using these headphones more than makes up for these shortcomings. Highly recommend it, especially for bass heads.

I love sony earbuds because they are not so expensive and clarity of sound is very good!! This model have a nice deep bass.

With these you get exactly what you pay for. They don't have perfect sound, but it is definitely good and the earpieces are comfortable!

Great comfort, sound, and love the different color options and lastly, price is not bad especially compared to Bose. Good buy!

I have to make a number of long flights each year across the Atlantic ocean, and have gotten weary lugging headphones with me for these trips. These wired earbuds provide a good alternative. They are much, much smaller and lighter. They provide reasonable noise isolation. They provide good audio for music and movies. I find that the microphone does an acceptable job for making phone calls. The multi-function button supplies the few controls I need while traveling. The L-shaped plug is easier to live with when squished into the extremely narrow seats in economy. I can wear these earbuds comfortably for up to 4 hours.

These headphones are light and comfortable to wear. The tip fits perfectly in the ear and didn't slip out during a light run.

I love the Sony MDRXB50 Earbuds. They sound great and are very comfortable. This is the second pair that I own. The bass is deep and the sound is clear. I also own a pair of Beats Earbuds which I never use. These sound better to me.

Got these to have some phones to wear while on my walks. I use the time to catch up on podcasts mainly. These are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. I don't think they're active noise cancelling but man o' man do they shut out the world in the best way. I've caught myself working on dinner in the kitchen still wearing them. Battery life is nothing to be concerned about. The only thing I have to say that's at all a mark against these is that, while they do have a built in (stereo?) mic, it doesn't play in the earphones; so you end up talking but can't really hear yourself bc the noise suppression is so good. It's a bit hard to get used to but after a while it's OK. This may be an issue with all bluetooth headsets - I only have this one to go by.
