Customers consistently note the superb sound quality, deep bass, and comfortable fit of these earbud headphones. Many appreciate their lightweight design and reasonable price. A common suggestion is the addition of volume control on the cord. The tangle-free cord is also a frequently praised feature.

But these black Sony are the ones I'm always reaching for. bypassing the Bose, Beats, JBL, Skull Candy XT-free, I will spend time looking for these. for good reason. I have a iPhone 6 and EQ on R&B or ROCK, with the "sound check off" specifically because these will cancel out ANY outside noise, you have to be careful at times. I didn't hear a fire engine pass right by me. The BASS will be felt not just heard, (4Hz-24Hz) the HIGHS can pierce your ear drums. These can be EXTREMELY loud if EQ isn't correctly set for the need. I have to make sure all the settings are right, before inserting them and turning them up. These are awesome if you wanna be in your own music world and ignore the mayhem around you! Ive heard parts of songs i'd never heard before, it took me a while to find the right ear mold size. It comes with 3 or 4, you need one that securely holds the earbuds in place. Not too deep, not too loose. These should cost $200-$250.00! I don't know how SONY can afford to do it. Get them, you can return them if Im lying.

I use these headphones with my Moto X Pure and Sony Walkman. I am a fan of Sony products and their headphones. Sound? These headphones sound great with nice and clear highs and mids. There is plenty of bass with these headphones too and I need that for the type of music that I listen to. Fit? They fit great and block out background noise. They don't fall out as I use them in the gym and run on the treadmill. Quality? Top notch quality and don't look cheap at all as it has flat wiring, metallic/black style earbuds and an easy to use in-line control feature. Price? Great price. By the way, I noticed on the box that it says IOS supports track skip and android doesn't support track skip. Well it supports track skip for android as it works great with my Moto X Pure. They need to update the box.

After reading several reviews and watching some YouTube videos I decided to purchase these headphones. The bass is awesome and the highs are crisp. They are not noise canceling but they have a good fit that blocks out a lot of background noise. They sound comparable or better than some premium earbuds. After using them for a couple of weeks I thought that I misplaced them. So I watch some more reviews of headphones under $50 and these were still among the top. I was going to buy another pair because I like them that much, luckily I found my earbuds and didn't have to purchase another pair.
The downside to these headphones is that they do not have a volume control button and they are a bit heavy on the ears after using them for hours.

I was looking for headphones that delivered great sound especially bass tones, Mic, great fitting, and overall great sound quality, but I didn't want big bulky beats by dre types and i didn't need that price tag either. I found these Sony pair and figured if they are garbage I'll return them, but to my surprise these were amazing. I use them for my ps4 for chatting and I definitely can't hear my girlfriend talk to me while I play which is a bonus and I use them for the gym for hip-hop and screamo music. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

Great Headphone awesome bass and treble compare to Bose MIE2i I bought earlier not worth the money I pay. This Sony headphone is half the price Bose MIE2i but deliver better sound rich deep bass and volume level is louder than Bose.I have Iphone6plus and love to listen to music with maximum volume level for Bose MIE2i still not loud enough for me but for Sony MDRXB50AP I have to decrease volume level because it's too loud . I never listen to music with Bose MIE2i ever again . I even bought 2 pairs extra of this Sony MDRXB50AP when they were on sale. And I think Sony MDRXB50AP fits in ear better than BoseMIE2i.

I am going to be so sad when these are discontinued. These are the best wired headphone for their price point (originally $50.00). Every time I find a pair that I like, the company discontinues them, so I really hope that isn't the case here. The bass is noticeable. The volume is strong. They actually stay in my ears as I walk long distances (make sure you are using the proper ear tips for the right fit). They look nice and the microphone feature is convenient should you get a call. I hope BestBuy keeps these for a while. I know everyone is pushing for wireless earbuds and headphones, but I prefer my wires for quality music listening. They are affordable and simple to use. Perfect for people who don’t want to have to worry about charging cases and batteries. I’d say they’ll last you three years before any issues arise or they’ve weakened enough that you need to replace them.

Looking for quality sound on a budget? Look no further. The Sony MDRXB50AP/B earbuds deliver great range, a comfortable fit, a built in omnidirectional microphone, and great noise isolation. The only bummer here is that there is no built in volume control on the remote, so be ready to reach in your pocket a lot. Overall it's an impressive buy considering its mere $50 price tag.

These headphones are great! They fit really well in your ear and the sound is pretty crisp and clear. The bass is great too. I know these headphones aren't noise cancelling, but they do a pretty good job blocking some environmental noise which is pretty cool.
One comment though. I like the remote button, but it doesn't have volume control, which sucks since I got these for running.

I am really enjoying these headphones so far, I use to be put off by the in-ear style, but these have an interesting angle where they sort of go in at a 45 degree angle into your ear. It feels quite comfortable to me, speaking of comfort, you get 4 different sizes total to try and find the right size for your ears. I went crazy with all the sizes (extra small, small, medium, large), and funny enough ended up going back to using the ones that came on by default (medium). It's recommended that with these kinds of headphones you find the right tip to go into your ear so it's comfortable, and sometimes each ear can have its own size, for me though medium was just fine. The sound quality with these headphones feel great and I love the bass, I use them for gaming, and they DO work with the Xbox One Headset adapter, that was the main reason I wanted to buy these headphones, before when I looked online I could find absolutely no answer to whether they work with the headset or not. They do, they just do, for both in game audio and chat.

Bought these for my wife. I already have a pair. Excellent sound, extremely comfortable. They're not Beats or Bose, but for the $25+ they are unbelievable. Tons of bass, mids are clear, and highs are clean. You will have to spend at least another $100 to come close to these.

These headphones sit comfortably and securely in your ear and do a great job of blocking out background noise. Bass is rich and sound is crisp. Comes with different sized plugs for comfort and a soft pouch great for traveling. Durable and unmatched at this price point.

Louder than Beats by Dre

After lots of research I decided to buy these. They are louder and deeper in bass than my Beats by Dre Over-Ear headphones and Samsung and Sony ear-buds (which have impressive sound too). My brother told me that they are louder than his iPhone ear buds too. They do not easily fall off my ears while walking or jogging, in fact, I normally have to pull them off. Sometimes I use them as ear plugs when I'm around loud noise. They have a nice look too. The button on the wire for pause, stop, play, answer, mute (or whatever you would like to program these phones to do) is a nice touch; although, I would like it to additionally have an analogue slider or wheel for volume separately. I thought the anti-tangle feature was a lie... well they do get tangled but I've never had a hard time untangling them. They fit comfortably in my ears. They are a little expensive at $50 but they are worth the extra cash you spend on the product. I can say that these are the best pair of earphones I've ever had.

Had in-ear Beats that just stopped working for no reason at all (Beats are overpriced garbage) and these blow them away. Better bass, better highs and lows, and more comfortable to wear. Not to mention better priced.

These Sony MDRXB50 earbuds are totally awesome. I have seen several Sony products with Sony's Extra Bass have an "XB" somewhere in the model number. Although Extra Bass is not mentioned in the product overview, I can hear the Extra Bass and I see "XB" in this model's model number. The bass is deep but not overpowering. The highs and mids sound great also. The flat cord really does a great job of staying untangled and feels of higher quality than other cords I have experienced. These buds look great. The blue color cord is a refreshing departure from so many black colored cords in my life. I love the storage pouch that comes with these buds, just drop them in the pouch, cinch it up, and your good to go. The mic works good for phone calls. For the price, you cannot beat these buds. The only negative I can see with these buds is that there are no volume or previous track controls. The controls will only start, stop, and advance the track. But still, A++, well done Sony!!
