But these are scored low because there isn't any volume up/down control in them (which, I know, is my fault for not paying enough attention to the lack of this information in the description or tech specs).

I switched back to my over the ear headphones. There is no comparison in the sound. Disappointed in the product over all but hey they were cheap, but not cheap enough for what you truly get!

It doesn't mater what size of cushion you use, I have an average shape to my ear and shoving them deep into the ear channel doesn't help. The combination of design shape and how it fits in the ear provides nothing to help in the process. Other than that they are obove average earphones.
