Looking for a pair of reasonably priced good sounding ear buds and saw these . By no means are they Beats , but pretty close . Deep rich sound , good bass , clear highs . Good sound for a great price .

I have plenty of good-quality pre-bluetooth-everywhere legacy gear that needs wired headphones. I have been using these earbuds twice daily for about 2 months now. They are comfortable in my ears, provide decent sound isolation from outside noise (e.g. people talking, subway brakes, leaf blower), fit under ear-muff hearing protection (for really noisy backgrounds like gasoline powered lawn mowers), and provide decent low frequency response unlike so many earbuds that are anemic at the low end (when compared to playing the same material on open speakers). The microphone works quite well, in fact one team told me too well as it picked up background noises before I could mute on the conference call. The cords are rectangular, rather than round, in cross section, and seem sturdier. Only time will tell if the cord-to-plug connection holds up to ordinary use over the long term. With thin cord earbuds I've experienced open circuit failures, right where the cord enters the plug's strain relief. My last 2 thin round cord earbuds failed at about 15-18 months use - first occasionally loosing connection then getting more frequent until permanent failure. This was gradual rather than an abrupt sudden failure after an incident like a yank or drop.

I decided to go with Ear Buds instead of a head set that covers the ears. I get better results with ear buds. Sony always delivers on product quality. These provide terrific sound for a great price! The bass is not excessive and is just what I need! A great deal!

This is my second pair of these Sony earbuds. Very loud and has lots of bass for my type of music. No volume control or microphone.

I work out using earbuds nearly everyday, and they wear out and fall out easily, normally. These have been my go-to for a few years now. The audio range is great, and the bass is pretty optimal, in my opinion. I had some Powerboats 2 that I liked, but the sound quality and loudness is still better with these. You can't get too much better than a corded set up, so for my needs, these are close to perfect given their price.

I got these on sale for $30. They are worth every penny! Bass is strong, but not overwhelming. Mids and highs are very clear as well. They fit snug in my ears, and I never worry about them falling out. My only issue is that the cord could be about a foot longer (I'm 6') b/c taller people might have issues reaching/putting their device in their pocket while using these. They are also a bit larger than typical earbuds, but the larger internal magnets and components are a major reason why they sound so great!

I’m no audio expert, but headphones have good base, stays in place. My only gripe— I wish it had volume control, otherwise good purchase.

Had them for awhile and have taken a pretty good amount of abuse and still work great! Nice bass for an earbud. Only downside is you cant change volume on the bud itself but not reallly a downside if you listen on max volume all the time. Able to pause and change songs forward and back. Mic works fine on calls. A solid all around ear bud that wont break.

Sony's longstanding reputation prompted me to purchase its MDRXB50 wired earbud headphones (black). It easily plugged into my phone's USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter, and the quality of music and phone calls is excellent. I can always use it in another phone that doesn't need a USB audio adapter, so that's a plus, as well. The price was less than some other brands, but overall, I trust Sony to make quality products.

Best ear buds I've purchased so far! I broke by over the ear noise canceling headphones on a trip and needed something for a 6 hour flight home. I ran into the store to get these and wow. I was able to drown out all the noise from the plane and surrounding things with these little guys. Not the mention the bass they put out is unheard of. Definitely recommend these ear buds.

These earbuds work very well and have a rich sound for the price. Of course there's no noise canceling or noise isolation but I didn't have issues using these on flights with engine noise.

These headphones wee purchased for my flight to Okinawa. They held up very well against the plane & passenger noise. Overall, they are excellent earbuds for any type of player. I used mine to watch a couple of movies and listen to mp3's. The sound quality was great as to be expected from any good Sony product. Highs were clear without being harsh and the lows were nice and deep, without the warped rumblings of a cheap speaker. For the money, they are an excellent choice.

Good Quality! The earplugs are very snug and thus carry a strong bass and mid-range while listing to music.

I was hesitant on getting these at first because I thought the ear buds would fall out. Luckily they don't and the bass in awesome, shoutout to the guy that helped me pick these up in the department. I'm sorry I forgot his name.

Great sounding ear buds with a good amount of bass. Best sounding buds for the money. Would have given 5 stars if only it has in line volume controls.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago for myself. I wanted something I could take with me in my backpack so I can listen to music at work. At home I have a pair of audiotechnica ath-m50x. While these pair in comparison they are a great budget set of earbuds! These also work surprisingly well for workouts, they stay in my ears perfectly while I run. I would wait for them to be on sale (which is basically every other week) but they are completely worth the $30 sale price!

These headphones have great quality sound and some passive noise reduction. They fit well and are comfortable. Good value.

I needed a wired pair of ear buds. Great quality and sound. Nice bass sound. Fits my ears well. Overall a good purchase.

I usually go through those kind of headphones very fast, maybe because I use them a lot. So far, this one is working good. The only problem I have is, they are too heavy compare to other headphones.
