I have cheaper earbuds that sound as good (MSRP $50 when i bought these). I have more comfortable earbuds that don't sound as good. These MIGHT be my loudest earbuds (higher perceived volume at same volume setting).

On the plus side they look good and the sound quality is excellent. On the down side they're as comfortable as having a live squirrel chewing the inside of your ear.

Bought earplugs for myself, but once home notice the product volume control did not support my windows media. Make sure to read the label before purchasing.

The earbud is not too bad but not loud enough. Wish it was louder like candy skull

I ride a motorcycle and the sound will cut out at higher speeds. I am trying to fine a set of buds that will not cut out. These cut out.

These headphones for supposed to be extra bass but they were really no different then the kind you get from the dollar store sure they look cool but they didn't sound any different

These headphones don't claim to compete with best if the best earbuds, but given the overall consistency and quality of recent Sony audio products, these were a dud. I feel that the XB doesn't live up to it's title with this product. The overall volume production was good, although the highs did seem harsh at times at higher volumes. The sound insulation was just okay. Overall wouldn't recommend, especially with companies like Panasonic offering much better sound for lower prices as well.

Bought these headphones as a quick replacement since I left my usual headphones at home. I am pleasantly surprised by their performance. The packaging says extra bass and as a bass lover I have been burned by that statement before. These actually came thru. Great sound and as a small eared person they also fit comfortably in my ears. I switched these to my everydays and couldn't be happier.

I know they are small and cheap but come on Sony. It says they have extra bass. I tried many types of music but it all sounded thin on the bass side. That's one of the reasons I bought this model because I was sure the bass would be thin on these types of phones. So I thought the extra bass would help. I would hate to hear the ones without the bass boost. Maybe they have extra bass, I've never used this type of headphone. I'm used to over the ear kind (Sennheiser 650's) at home. On a brighter note they do fit nice.

i thought they were great until people started complaining about outside noise. my home was quiet at the time. i think the mike is too sensitive.

I thought initially that they were good. But then I broke those. And bought another pair. The second ones are not that good in terms sound and the overall experience especially if you are a loud music lover.

Brought for kid. He does not use often. The buds are to big for his ears. Maybe when he gets a little bigger he will use more often.

I have been using this device for almost two year now and it's clear. I have not have a problem with this device so far because sony make good product.

They're earbuds and they do exactly what you would expect. Not fancy or incredibly good sounding, but get the job done.

I've bought 2 of this same product and they seem to messed up and end up hearing, I don't know if it's just my luck or what, but I do recommend getting the insurance

These headphones are good, but nothing super noticeably special about them in my opinion. Also, I have a very hard time keeping them in my ears. They're constantly falling out.

I didn't feel these earbuds sounded as good as the sales guy led me to believe. My old ones that came with my iPhone had a deeper, richer sound. Glad I was able to return them.

a little disappointed. i expected better quality from top company-sony. sound is similar to my other sony product ($29.99 one)

I had the previous Sony model to these. They sound alright but they don't produce as much bass even though they have bigger drivers.

Great sound quality. However there was a sharp edge on the housing that made them extremely uncomfortable after about 15 minutes.
