The small buds do not help. The quality of sound is great, but can only be tolerated by some individuals that these would be more ergonomically suited to wear.

Turns out they weren't and they were on sale because theyre basically a gas station special made for earphones in a pinch. The sound is tinny and the bass is nonexistent. I threw them away because i felt like it tbh

The sound is good and it is good with noise cancellation. However they do claim to have extra bass which is why I purchased them and they lack that bass.

The area of the earbud right after the rubber insert is much larger in diameter than other earbuds and it rests on the earlobe, causing discomfort. Such a bummer... :-( had to return.

These headphones in particular for $50 surpassed my expectations. The Sol Republic earphones I had last year, which I lost, had great sound but terrible grip on the ear. The comfort and feasibility of putting these Sony headphones in my ears is a big plus. The sound and Bass is great. Buy these if you don't intent spending on headphones beyond $50. You won't regret it.
