I had a set of skull candy headphones, same price range, before these but lost them. And I really liked them. But I like to try new things. So I looked around. The "extra bass"appealed to me right off the bat. Looked around some more and then bought them. When taking them out of the box I was immediately disappointed to find out it didn't have a volume control on the headphones. Would have been five stars otherwise. Sound is fantastic. "Extra bass" was no joke. I love bass. Didn't know little earplugs could have soo much. And pleased to see, or should say feel, that they were more comfortable than the skull candies. I have small ear channels the would start to hurt after awhile, but not anymore. Guess I can live with using the volume on the phone.

The quality of the sound is great, you are able to really enjoy the music with the extra bass making the music feel more alive but unfortunately I had to exchange these twice because they occasionally would have the music go in and out for a small period even though they were fully plugged it. It is strange to me that 2 in a row came out defective but the ones I currently have are fine! Despite the two previous experiences I would recommend these for the sound and price.

These headphones are comfortable and they sound really great! You can really define the bass from everything else.

This headphones have been amazing! I have had these headphones for a while now and they have yet to break on me! The bass level within these headphones are amazing and also the noise cancellation is a great factor as well. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who likes a great quality in headphones while on the go such as going to work on the train or for other travel.

The sounds are great. I use it with my iPod while working out. I take it with me at work and plug it in my computer to listen to music or listen to the shows on the net. Overall the sounds are clear and crisp.

Very clear and smooth sounding. They're comfortable in the ear and I love the perfect base and sound. I'm very satisfied :)

Price is great, they stay in my ears without issue, and the sound is awesome. I am totally surprised by these, and wasn't expecting much at this price point, but they have exceeded my expectations. I have used them for music (metal) and movies/anime and they perform well in both uses. The bass is definitely there, but not overpowering. The sound is rich across all levels, high low and mid. You really cant go wrong with these, especially at this price point.

These headphones are an excellent buy. Got them on sale but they are worth the regular price quite frankly. The mics call quality is fantastic. The music sounds a little bassy but you can manage your sound settings on your phone to compensate. They fit well and come with different ear fittings. They might seem a little bulkier than others but not too bad. Definitely not a good workout headphone though, they aren't fitted for that

I bought these because I wanted something a bit nicer than the Skullcandy earbuds I've been using for a few years. I was pleasantly surprised that they came with a little fabric carrying pouch. While these Sony earbuds do sound better than my Skullcandy ones, I wasn't very impressed by the "Extra Bass". What I liked most was how well these earbuds fit me and how well they blocked out sound at a midrange volume setting. The mic and button (used for answering calls, play, pause, and double click for next track) work just fine, but the button is a bit small. Overall I'm happy with the purchase

I've been enjoying listening to these earbuds for about a month. The sound is very pleasant with accurate highs and lows. The only thing that I don't appreciate is that the cord is very thin and tangles easily.

my son wanted new earbuds for class. looking over reviews found these were rated very well,and they were on sale and available at local store. plus were on sale. great sound very happy.

I like the fullness of the sound for the price. I am used to cheaper earbuds, mostly, skullcandies. These are not bass focused but are not lacking, and are full in rich sound. I will buy these again.

These have really clear sound and good bass. The fit is comfortable. The cord does get tangled a lot though!

I had some punk a** Soul earbuds, which were always uncomfortable and falling out of my ear. They defended my argument that earbuds were pointless, stupid, and harmful to ears. Plus, they broke within a month or so! It wasn't until I traded them in for my sony extra bass ear buds that I had a change of heart. Seriously, the sound is great, plus they're comfy. Basically, they're great.

Lovely little budget headphones that I got on sale. The quality for its price point is simply unbeatable. Clean and simple design. Only has one button which is used to pause/play or call up voice assistant. Purchased two pairs, one for myself and one for a relative. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for affordable, top quality buds.

The headphones definitely do their job. Great sound, great noise-cancelation. The microphone is a little weak for phone calls, but it's really not a big deal when you look at the product as a whole.

Crispy sound but a little too much of that ported bass woof. Still, a good purchase if you like that and isolation to outside noise is excellent.

I've always been a huge skullcandy person, but after 5 pairs of earbuds where the cords eventually break internally, I tried these sonys out and I've nothing but great things to say. They actually cancel out sound way better than the skull candys and fit nice. (When I run I would get the repercussions of my feet impacting the ground, but nothing with these!)
