I'm usually very picky about my headphones and was steering away from these and going for an expensive, high end product. But I took a chance on them on a whim because I was in a hurry to go get a run in, and I'm very happy I did. The Sony's are great. I'm a bigger guy so I had to change from the default ear plugs to the largest one they offered, but once I did, it was fantastic! Great seal to block out ambient noise and an incredibly strong sound with lots of bass. And despite the heavy bass, it never got "muddy" or lost the rest of the range. Again, I love bass...and I listen to lots of old school Rock and R&B. When I got home, I compared them to my wife's earPods for pure sound and the Sony's were much better to me which was a real surprise because I had always liked the sound of the earPods. But switching back and forth between the two, it was clear that the Sony was just a stronger all around sound for me. I did a lot of running and some hurdles and platform jumps and they never came out so I was very pleased with that aspect as well. As I said, I had to switch to the larger tips but once I did that, it was great, full sound and never moved during my exercise. I've been using them for about 5 different workouts now and still perfect for me.

I've got Bose IE2, Bowers & Wilkins C5, and a bunch of other ones. I was looking for something with a bit more bass than the IE2 and something with more mids & highs than the C5. These win in both respects but the bass is too powerful for my liking. It extends lower than the IE2 but because the bass is so overpowering the mids and highs are overshadowed but they are still better than the C5. The bass is big and powerful but doesn't have quite the sub-bass quality of the C5. I love BestBuy's return policy - I ended up taking these back and picking up the Sony XBAH1 which are my new favorite earphones.

I bought these earphones a week ago. The sound is crystal clear and thats a good bass. Love it. Even the wire is beautifully designed. Hearing the sound, one can assume those are like $70 worth. Great product for cheap price.

Bought them on sale, with no regrets. They have clean bass and over all sound awesome. The range of the sonys is impressive, from alternative to ambient. My new favorite buds.

I had the klipsch s4 before i got these buds, a good purchase and value.

We bought these for our son for Christmas. He has been using them for 3 weeks now and loves them. He said they are comfortable to wear and the sound is good and clear.

I am honestly surprised at how much bass can be bumped out of these little guys. Pretty good build quality with great sound. Perfect for anyone who loves bass heavy music.

Love these earbuds. Best quality sound I've had in a pair of earbuds for a while. Yesterday I got really sad when I accidentally ran them over. With my car. I started using an old pair of headphones that sound terrible and it was just depressing. So today I decided to hot glue the plastic of the earbud back together and see if they still worked and they did! Pleasantly surprised. I've never written a review for a product before, I was just very impressed so I made a Best Buy account just to write this.

These headphones are killer! Mostly EDM listener, but appreciate all genres and they all sound great. I did a lot of research before purchasing these, including a cross-comparison of user reviews for other headphones in this price range and somewhat niche area of bassy-$50-ish headphones. For fifty bucks these things bump! These sound like $100+ headphones, the bass is nice and clean, the mids and highs are (fairly) crisp, and are not drowned out by the bass (like the Beats headphones tend to do). If you've been doing your research and are considering these amongst a few others in the same tier, GET THESE! You won't be disappointed. A word to the wise - make sure not to rip them hard within the first few listening sessions, as with any new audio equipment. Ease into them, it will increase the longevity and sound quality. Also... COUGH*price-matching*COUGH (look around, I got these for about $34 in-store after talking with a store associate)

Pros: Good sound quality, seems to be good microphone pickup Cons: No volume control means using the device volume control. I can get my computer volume down far enough but not my phone, so these are not useful for my phone. I needed earbuds with microphone for my work computer and these work. For the price they are good enough. They do not fit my ears very well but are comfortable enough for conferences over the internet. Not useable on my phone.

I bought these Sony ear buds because I wanted a quality pair for the gym. The sound quality and crisp base are amazing for a pair of ear buds. I actually like them better than my Beats Solo headphones!

These headphones are awesome. The sound is great and they fit comfortably in my ear. If you're unsure about which wired headphones you want, these should be the ones!

This is the best earphones I had that has an excellent quality with good bass. I would definitely suggest to try this before buying any other earphones in the same price range.

It may be my fault for not reading the specs closer, but I'm very disappointed in a couple of things: 1) the on/off switch is on the left side, when every other set I've ever had has been on the right, and 2) there is no volume control on the switch. Both of these things, plus the fact that the jack is curved rather than straight make them less than ideal. I use them for listening to books on my phone and voicemail on my laptop and the sound is adequate.

I use them with my android. They are good sound, and bass. They are a good value and would get them again.

Today is all about wireless headphones, but I'm still using these wired headphones. It's comfortable, with great sound quality.

second set purchased for my kids, unfortunatley one set was stolen. Great sound - good range, good fit.

Headphones, fit great, very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone. I go thru a lot of headphones. I even took out the 2 year extended warranty.

They are good headphones. I had them for about 8 months strong. They sound amazing and everything. I noticed when i workout at the gym or light active work they tend to fall out of my exceptionally when im jogging the fall out hard core as if there heavy. As of know my left ear piece went out doe to the wear of the end of the cord:( i really really like these headphones but im not about to pay $50+ taxs for another pair to much but they are woth it jus not that much. I dont want to settle for less. I will jus buy a cheap pair for know intell next time i can aford them
