Sound is Crisp and Clear with a really great Bass sound!

Got these with high expectations since them came with a decent price tag on them and had pretty positive reviews. Pros: -Can play music loud -Mic works well with phone calls -Aesthetically pleasing Cons: -Hurts my ears physically after no more then 2 songs. -The only "extra bass" is the words written on the packaging. Otherwise I just don't hear it. -Too expensive Conclusion: I'm going to return these because in the end I wouldn't pay $10 for them. I've never had a set of earbuds the actually hurt my ears after only a few minutes of use. I've tried all the different ear piece sizes and it makes no difference. On top of that besides being able to play the music loud there is really no "extra bass" whatsoever. I'm just trying to find a good pair of headphones for while I'm at work and now I'm 0-2 with Sony (tried their wireless extra bass OTE and they wouldn't work right without the cord). Might be time to move on to some other brand I guess.

This headphone is fantastic. I have purchased several headphones in previous years, finally I found something that have exceed my expectations. The sound quality is amazing, feels like I bought home theater system and not headphones. Design is very good, the earbuds stays nicely fir into the ears. Great !

The sound is good, strong bass (as a $40 earbud) and clear sound. But the earbuds are a little bit big when you insert into ears, my right ear cant holds this for more than 30mins. The metal part of right ear earbud is too big for me.

Alright so, I have tried monster dna in ear and sol republic jax. They were good ear buds, but it was still missing something that i could not figure out. I thought I would actually stick with the dna's, but the right ear bud started acting weird on me in a few days and so I returned them. I actually really liked them and thought to buy them again, but it was meant to be that I ran across these sony's because I usually like to stick with brands that are trust worthy because I feel like these new brands aren't ready yet (even though monster is a 30 year old company) because they tend to not last long. So when I bought these, right away the style caught me because they were good looking and different. Then the best part is when I was playing music because they are perfect in my opinion. The high's and lows are there and the package says "Extra Bass" but don't be afraid because its not going to be crazy and annoying bass, the bass is perfect. The only thing I wish it had was the flat wire feature, but these are not bad at all, they do not seem to tangle. Honestly, I would buy these again if they fail on me.

Wonderfull sounding headphones at a reasonable price

For a while, I looked and looked at customer reviews to see which pair of earphones was "the best bang for your buck". I can most definitely say that these earphones went far beyond my expectations. The sound is so clear and full and just overall fantastic. Keep in mind, I'm no audiophile, but I am a musician who's very picky about how my music sounds if that counts for anything. Also, after a few tries I found the right combination of ear buds to fit perfectly in my ear, which believe me was actually quite difficult to find with previous pairs of earbuds that I've had in the past. The box comes with four sizes of earbuds which is amazing; quite frankly I wish many more headphone companies would put four different size earbuds in the packaging. I know that many people would appreciate that. Overall, these are fantastic headphones and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone that wants a solid pair of earbuds for a solid price.

Good for the money. Volume doesn't go too high but that can be a good thing.

Bought them for my sister so that she wouldn't keep "borrowing" mine. They sound pretty good but I don't like the fact that you have to have them in pretty far into your ear for the sound to be as it should. Also a bit bulky if you ask me. However for the price they are excellent.

Comfortable fit, great for using as a casual pair. Would prefer more bass, but I'm happy for now.

These buds sound good, are comfortable, etc...BUT they tend to last about 6 months for me. Getting ready to use my warranty to get my THIRD replacement this weekend. Save your money and try another brand..

I originally bought the Bose ear buds for a 140.00 tried them out when I got home and they suck! They don't fit in my ear at all. Tried the different ear pieces and nothing. Went back to best buy and bought these jems. Love them, way better sound then the bose

best wired earbuds I have ever bought (and I have bought quite a few). Been using mine for a whole year, no problem, I wear them to the gym EVERY TIME, no sign of wear.

Solid sound, a decent amount of bass for just being in-ear headphones, but the high end is considerably lacking, and cymbals do not sound very good at all. Bought my set on sale for $30, and $30 seems like the right price for them. Would not recommend paying $50 for them unless you're really only into the bass.

Basic headphone, works very well. I use it daily in the train.

Good sound quality mostly durable cable works with a computer laptop tablet whatever device you need to use it with.

I brought these about 3 years ago, they are still going strong with only signs of wear on them. My main issue with earbuds used to be they sounded very tinny or just didn't sound "full" enough for me. I gave it a shot at $50 hoping that "Xtra Bass" was true. Blown away by how clear, and full sounding they were, oh yeah they do deliver bass you can actually hear also. I have gotten about 4 friends who were just looking for decent $50 earbuds to get these over the past year since they are only $30 and they have been telling others to get these also. I am sold on Sony's "Xtra Bass" line, I also have the XB450, and XB950BT and I still use these when I don't want to wear over the ear/on ear headphones.

The sound quality is okay. The bass is not very heavy though.

a little too much bass for my liking but the wide range makes these a really great pair of earbuds! I bought them for work and they are just what I needed. I love the little carry pouch that they come with too!

I bought these little under 4 year ago from my local best buy. I paid full price for it. I was by and large very happy with the product quality and sound quality. Did not use the mic for calks but so cannot say. Everything was fine until one side stopped working. Looked up sony warranty and the warranty these for only 90days. Way to stand behind your products guys. These thing are really cheap to buy now. But i think i will try something different this time, may be better quality
