Crispy sound but a little too much of that ported bass woof. Still, a good purchase if you like that and isolation to outside noise is excellent.

Love these headphones! Can't go a day without them. I really enjoy that when they are in I cannot hear any noise even in the loudest places. Must buy!

I had some punk a** Soul earbuds, which were always uncomfortable and falling out of my ear. They defended my argument that earbuds were pointless, stupid, and harmful to ears. Plus, they broke within a month or so! It wasn't until I traded them in for my sony extra bass ear buds that I had a change of heart. Seriously, the sound is great, plus they're comfy. Basically, they're great.

I've always been a huge skullcandy person, but after 5 pairs of earbuds where the cords eventually break internally, I tried these sonys out and I've nothing but great things to say. They actually cancel out sound way better than the skull candys and fit nice. (When I run I would get the repercussions of my feet impacting the ground, but nothing with these!)

This headphones are good and bass sound good. They stay in really well and are comfortable.

The headphones definitely do their job. Great sound, great noise-cancelation. The microphone is a little weak for phone calls, but it's really not a big deal when you look at the product as a whole.

Purchase this after my Skullcandy earphones broke. These Sony earphones was a noticible difference in sound quality to all of my older earphones...plus the mic was a necessity!

These are great sounding earbuds for the price. These do sound better than others costing more. You may be able to get better sounding buds, but it will cost you 2 or 3 times more and that is not woth it.

These earbuds deliver clean mid and high frequencies accompanied by deep and booming, but not overpowering low frequencies. I can hear parts of songs that I have never been able to hear before. It is like putting on a new pair of glasses. The build quality has proven to be durable and the different sizes of rubber tips is nice to have.

Earbuds sound quality are fine and call quality are pretty good. They don't feel the best in the ear, especially for extended periods of time. I got the headphones on sale and worth it, but would not recommend at suggested retail price. Also, these do not have volume control, which is surprising at this price point (if it was not denoted in description, that is).

i have been buying sony headphones for at least 27 years now. i like the way they make them and the nice sound they make them. these are the ones to buy right now, they are great headphones to listen to.

It sound is very good on these head phones. The only issue I have is the caps that hold the buds to the wire and they fall off. The glue use was not very good. This issue does prevent the buds from work.

The sound that comes through these is amazing! I bought the extended warranty but I haven't had to use it. I haven't been that lucky with other headphones I've purchased in this price range.

Sony makes great earbuds for a much lower price than the big boys (Beats, Bose, Klipsch, etc). I've had tons of Beats ear buds and headphones, which are all great, but they cost three-times as much as the Sony buds. If you want great sound at a reasonable price, get a set of Sony headphones.

I have small ears and most of the earbuds do not stay in. I've not had a problem with the Sony Earbud. Loved mine so much, I went back and bought a pair for my husband. The sound is incredible.

If you prefer ear buds, this is my second pair. My first pair lasted me over a year and I'm a regular high impact workout type and a runner. They're reliable and the sound is great.

I've purchased earbuds from JVC, Skullcandy, Phillips, Beats by Dr. Dre & Bose. I couldn't be any happier to find an excellent quality and build for such a low price!! I highly recommend them.

The improved base on these headphones is amazing. I have bought these headphones again and again just because they are so good. I recommend these to anyone who listens to music with heavy bass.

I can say these are as good if not better in some ways. I own both, I like both, but these were cheaper. Now its just a course of longevity, I use them daily so I will find out. Good earbuds !

The sound quality is better than average, especially if inserted all the way into the ear. However, they are uncomfortable after an hour, even after experimenting with the different size inserts.
