I listened to many options up to $150, and almost dismissed the MDRXB50s thinking that the budget priced earbuds would produce lackluster performance. I was dead wrong. They sound amazing, clear from low to high frequency, with deep, punchy bass. I switched the ear cushions to the next larger size and noise reduction is thorough. People no longer complain about not being able to hear me when talking on the phone (good mic). The cord is of larger circumference so it doesn't tangle like others. I could not be happier!
