Both where priced under $20. The Sony ear buds would automatically activate Siri on my phone and didn't have good bass so I returned them.

With that in mind, they are excellent for my purpose. The other person's voice comes through clearly, and they can hear my voice well too. This was meant to be just an extra pair to have on hand, so low price was important, but I'm happy that in this case the product functions way better than its price point would indicate.
