I really like this flash. It's relatively lightweight and produces a nice flash. The shoe is pretty fragile and seems like it is easy to break. Be delicate with it

Uses battery fast so keep extra sets handy esp for a long event. works well in small areas, best I found to use in a 50 x 50 area.

This was a gift for my girlfriend. She is into photography and absolutely loves this flash. I want to say she snapped about 200 pictures so far with the flash and no issues, batteries are still solid. The flash is perfect, def worth spending a little extra!

I was in between getting the less expensive version or the more expensive flash from Sony. Yet, once I found this flash it made my decision much easier. A great all around flash. It is missing a few features i would have liked but at this price it is a great value.

Paired with an a6300 that performs well in low light, this flash is perfect. Two AA batteries. Recycles quickly. I've had name brand stuff and generic stuff - and this flash is as good as anything else I've bought that has the SONY name stamped on it - AMAZING.

This is a powerful flash. I'm so happy to have spent the extra money for this one. It has many useful features and does a much better job that a less expensive flash. High Speed Sync (HSS) is so important when using a flash outdoors to fill in shadows. This takes care of that. You also don't have to use a Full Flash 1/1. The flash can be directed in a narrow direction for much further distance, or wide to cover a closer and wider area. It also has enough power to be effective when using a good diffuser!

This flash really works well with my camera. Lighting was perfect.

Nice Sony flash to go along with my Sony A7 II. It works perfectly as long as you are not shooting at a frenetic pace. It takes up to 10 seconds between shots and only gets worse as the battery level goes down. I gave it 4 stars because it's a necessity with the Sony A7 series as there are no built in flashes.

This flash works great with my 90 mm G lens! It will aim at almost any angle, side to side, as well as straight up (or anywhere between that and slightly downward.) The recovery time is very quick. No regrets on this purchase. I would recommend this flash for any serious photographer.

This is a powerful flash! I usually shoot with an 85mm and a Gary gong diffuser and it reaches the subject well. It is def a step up from my Godox lite flash as far as power goes. This flash is sturdy feeling and I like the quick lock feature.

This flash is great and it works flawlessly with my a6300. With that being said, the model up is definitely worth the price for $100 more. It’s expensive, but the led light for filming and other additional settings are worth it.

This is a great powerful light-weight flash when used in the right spaces, focal length. I use this as the control whenever I use off-camera flash. Awesome accessory to have along with the HVLF43M model flash which is the more powerful, heavier flash.

Just getting into using flash but this is fairly easy to use. The instructions are garbage but who reads those.

Great flash, comparable to my Canon speedlite. I tried to buy an off brand on Amazon and it was junk. This is the flash you need for Sony mirrorless cameras. Only downside...it goes through a lot of batteries.
