Lyrics sound muddy and music in general is flat. If you move around a lot this can certainly be a good option, but I wouldn't suggest it for primarily home use.

We suggest playing high-quality audio files for better listening experience and make sure to turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. Keep the speaker away from a microwave oven, Wi-Fi®, etc., bring the BLUETOOTH device closer to the speaker. If there is any obstacle between the speaker and the BLUETOOTH device, move it out of the way.

Thank you for your review. While we are glad that you are satisfied with the great sound quality of our XB13, we are really sorry if its loudness/max volume didn't live up to your expectations. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have. For the loudness/volume, this usually depends on the source that you're playing and audio device that you are using. Also, take note that sound becomes low while in use when the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor. The “Priority on sound quality” and “Priority on stable connection” modes are available as options for the playback quality of BLUETOOTH audio streaming. “Priority on sound quality” enables you to perform playback settings of SBC and AAC, so that you can enjoy high quality sound via BLUETOOTH connection. Is there no way an exception can be made so I can buy the more expensive speaker I want? Otherwise, I’ll cut my losses and keep the cheaper speaker I bought.
