Sound is crisp and balanced, however, if you require more bass; the bass boost is an awesome tool. Its not supposed to be noise cancelling but its pretty close. Additionally, the battery life has been great so far!

I was shocked to hear the deep bass these headphones offer. Great design and comfortable wear. The wireless capabilities are excellent as well. They always reached the distances advertised with no loss in sound quality.

These things are freaking great. They are comfortable and have good sound quality in my opinion. The bass is already great. If you turn on bass boost, they are ludicrous! Battery life lasts for more than 20 hours. Plus I can just plug them in when I want to listen to my PlayStation 4. Would I recommend them to a friend? Heck yes I would! I recommended them my brother who is now jealous because he bought the big skull candy ones that suck compared to these! (His words)

Bought these for my daughter for Christmas and she loves them! She wanted bluetooth headphones (in blue) for her Iphone and the Bass Boost was an extra bonus! The sound is great and I got them for a great price!

I love these headphones, the sound and bass are awesome! The fit over my ear and are very comfortable. The bluetooth connects quickly to my Mac and Android. You can drown out all outside noise with these.

These are good quality headphones for a reasonable price but they're not Bose. Good bass that you can turn on and off. Bluetooth works great. Very comfortable.

I had a HARD time choosing between wired sound-canceling and wireless super bass. In the end I chose wireless and I truly believe I made the right choice. I travel a lot so sound canceling was important to me when I fly, but wires don't agree with traveling either. So the first time I tried these on and hit the bass booster button, I realized that I could hear anything at all. ALTHOUGH the bass is a little TOO hard for my taste by I can see how others might enjoy it. It's worth noting that even if you don't use the bass booster, you can still barely hear anything from the outside anyways, plus it being wireless is the point of paying the price that they cost.. Overall - 4 Stars!!!

Sony always build quality products. Very good bass and clear and easy to setup. Good bass yet very clear and balance throughout. Good long battery and wireless pairing. Good mic with my iPhone.

As stated, this headphone is great for the original price of $199. Bought this as a gift and was able to test it. The sound quality is great for bass type lovers. There is a distinction when the Extra Bass button is pressed. Overall, the headphone feels very comfortable and looks elegant for its price. Best part was after I'd bought the headphone, a week later the price dropped to $149. Was able to call Best Buy and got a price matched. Was told it may take up to 5-10 days for the reversal, but next day the transaction was processed already. Only con was the difficult connection of the automated system to Customer Service dealing with Price Match services.

ok so I went in best buy to buy the latest beats. I originally had the qc15 bose but returned that to get a wireless headphone. I originally liked the Samsung ones, since I have a Samsung phone, but was quickly disappointed with the sound quality. Very insulting if you ask me...how are samsung headphones that terrible. Anyway so I browsed over to the beats section bought the wireless beats studio...terrible choice it literally cuts the sound quality in half for all samsung phones. I was extremely upset because I asked the associate if they were good and several times he stated yes but was very wrong. My girlfriend had the iPhone so I just gave her the headphones and went browsing and she suggested Sony's. Honestly if my relationship was about to fail that suggestion would've saved it. Freaking awesome headphones....sure the wireless feature doesn't support noise cancelling that well but I feel these surpass the bass sound of beats. Bottom like if you like bass and want good quality go with these. I have never once used the wire because not only do I use my phones volume but Sony thought ahead and added more volume on their headphones PLUS and extra bass button...whew I have never regreted my decision.

I tested all the different wireless headphones and preferred these over the rest. Comfy, last forever between charges, and the bass is awesome. Don't waste your money on Bose or Beats.

I'm a little hard of hearing, so I wanted something that would not only work wirelessly with my computer, but with my TV and landline telephone, also. (I did have to purchase a $20. bluetooth adapter for my TV.) These work beautifully with my landline. Now, when the phone rings, I answer it using my headphones. The built in microphone enables people on the other end to hear me with no problem. (I've had zero complaints.) Music sounds great, too!! My daughter tried them out and was so impressed that she bought a pair, too. I also have a pair of wireless Beats and except for the "extra bass," on the Sony's, these are very comparable and very comfortable.

This is one of the most comfortable headphones I ever had. If you love bass then this is it. The built in microphone is fantastic. I've had no problems with these headphone, I use it with my iPhone 6+ the battery works all day in one charge.

Very comfortable headphones and pleased they were priced half off. Especially like the blue tooth feature and wire option. Batteries seem to last about 5 hours. Great sound and well made.

These headphones sound great and work very well with my mobile phone via bluetoooth. Excellent bass boost feature and you can answer calls while using them as well. Good product.

I was in Best Buy twice trying to figure out which headphones to buy. I needed to buy ir for gaming and long working hours as a data analyst. Noise cancellation was at the top of my list. I brought my iPhone and listened to everything. Beats, Skull, Sony, Bose, JBL, and others. I started at the high end and worked my way down. There was a huge difference in sound quality between the high end and low end of all the brands but I also found that the top of the line Sony headphones sounded as good as the $400+ Bose and Beats headphones. I debated for a long time on buying these or their non-bluetooth headphone equivalent and decided in the end that I wanted the bluetooth. here is my first week's findings. The Good points... 1) Sound quality is outstanding. Beats and Bose are over priced. Sony is undercharging for these. 2) Noise Canceling is not needed. You can't here anything going on with these on. Awesome for cube life if you want to tune out your coworkers but still want to here if you have a new email. I have a stand up desk so no wires makes sense. 3) Using them as a headset to make phone calls works very well. clear communication. 4) Battery life is pretty good. I charge them every night and get a 8 hour work day in. They haven't died on me yet. 5) The volume, track, and call answer controls are great. Once you start using them you realize just how we they are placed. 6) They are built solid out of metal and higher quality plastics. 7) Ear Cushions are very very comfortable.

The headset is very comfortable to wear. Very good sound quality, light weight. Easy to connect to any bluetooth device. The bass is very rich even without the boost. The volume and fast forward/reverse are very user friendly. They are strategically located on the right ear piece. You won't buy a better set of headphones then the Sony MDRXB950BT/B at any price. Only drawbacks are a lack of a carrying case. And bass boost function doesn't work when they are used with the wire. Other than that, they are fantastic.

Great sound quality for a good price, comfortable over ear fit. Great having the Bluetooth feature and not having to worry about a cord while working out. Great overall quality

I bought these for my son as a Christmas gift. He loved them! They are just as good as the other more expensive brand but about half the price! He uses them everyday when he goes to the gym...even runs with them and has not problems.
