These headphone have solid bass even without the extra bass feature. But for many of the hip-hop and dance tracks that are out, so many are recorded with deep bass that you only hear through a sub-woofer. With the extra bass feature turned on, you get the sound that you are looking for. For older recordings, pre-90's music, you may be better with the extra bass turn off for best sound. It charges extremely fast. I just plug it into my computer's usb port and I'm good to go to charge. And on a full charge, they get me through a long work day with no problem.

I bought these headphones for my husband, who likes to watch TV with them if I don't want to watch the same show as him. They were very easy to charge (USB charger; we used our iPhone charger base), it paired quickly and simply with the TV, and the sound is really phenomenal. I only wore them for a short time, but they seemed comfortable to wear with a lot of ear padding. No complaints so far; I can't comment on how long they last between charges, though I can't imagine them needing it too often if only used an hour or so a day. Love these headphones!

Debating between Sony and Beats - get Sony! Awesome quality, great bass, good deal. Don't follow the hype of Beats, try Sony, you won't regret it!

I purchased these specifically so I could move around better while listening to music or watching TV/Movies on my iPad. A great buy. Battery life is excellent (so far). Only need to charge once every few weeks (use 3-4 hours/day on average). Solid sound performance, particularly for the price and technology (Bluetooth). Microphone is a bit weak when using it for phone calls, but that wasn't my primary use, so I don't have a problem with that.

My son had a $300 set of beats that were wired...he loved them but wanted a wireless set for Christmas. I couldn't afford to get him wireless beats so I looked into the Sony wireless which are priced less. Not only did I save money but the quality is better than his beats! He loves them & the technology. He just hold his phone up to the headset to connect. They also work great with his PlayStation because the headset has a built in microphone. He uses them mainly when he's working out in the gym and he loves the way the stay on and sound!!

They’re definitely noise canceling ! They are pretty durable and I use them to dj and they are wireless as well but come with a headphone jack to plug into an iPod or laptop.

These headphones block out any outside noise very well, without having to have the music blasting. The sound quality is great even without the extra bass (which is really nice to have on them). The battery stays charged for a long time and they're really comfortable to wear. Haven't had any issues at all, love them and would definitely recommend them.

These headphones have great sound, a ton of base and the rechargeable battery life is crazy long!

Sound, fit and bluetooth is better than Beats wireless plus almost half the price! Can't go wrong here!

the blue tooth head phones are nice , the sound. the only thing the bass boost only works if they are in Bluetooth mode. also I wish I would have waited to purchase , they will be on sale for black Friday. they are also a little bulky, but its okay , they re not tight on your ears.

it's not noise-cancelling, but good. battery is decent, connects both via bluetooth and aux cable (which is included). case for head phones is not included. i particularly do like how soft and cushiony the headphones fit on the ears. it allows for hrs long of music listening without a headache or stretched-out ears. bought on black friday for cheaper price, so how can you say no? 5 stars for price, but 4 stars otherwise.

Best earphones I've ever purchased. Better base than Beats and easier to wear for extended periods of time. Charge last every bit of 20hrs.

I love not having the wires. It sounds great. You can push the bass button for extra sound but I think they sound great without that.

Very comfortable, good sounding headphones. Easy to pair up and will last all day. A little hard to use talk to speech on Bluetooth.

If your into bass these are the headphones for you. They have tons of it. Incredible sound and not that bad of a price. The noise cancellation ain't the best but it will get you by. The only real big issue I have with them is that they aren't that portable. But all in all good headphones!!

I was looking to replace my original Monster Beats headphones, which I gave away– regrettingly. When Monster owned Beats, they made headphones that were loud, clear, and punched amazing bass. Naturally, I immediately looked to replace them with a pair of Apple Bluetooth Beats headphones. What a disappointment. The new models aren't nearly as loud, the bass is distorted, and you can't turn off the annoying hiss of The noise isolation feature. The on-headphone controls were also terrible and non-intuitive. Enter the Sony headphones. Much better bass, louder – although nothing is as loud as my original Monster Beats, better overall sound quality, and no annoying noise isolation hiss. They are also less than half the price of the Apple Beats headphones when on sale. The controls on the headphones are also much simpler to work with. These are by far the best value for Bluetooth headphones out there right now. I tried all the others, including Bose, and the Sony's came out on top by far. I took away one star because they aren't as loud as I'd like. However, all headphone manufacturers I think have limited how loud your headphones can be. Maybe it's a lawsuit thing? I don't know. But you won't find any louder headphones with any of the other manufacturers either. For nine out of 10 people, this probably isn't a problem. I just like to play my music really loud. My opinion is if you like your music loud with lots of bass, these Sony headphones are the ones to go with.

great set of headphones. sound is excellent. controls are good easy to use. wireless is good for working out . very comfortable.

Let me start by saying these are great headphones. And even better I got them for $100 on Black Friday! What a steal!! With that being said, why do some insist on comparing these to the Beats Wireless Studio's? In my humble opinion they do not sound as good as the Beats. But if you want affordable great sounding headphones do not hesitate to buy these. So the reason why I say they do not sound as good as the Studio's is because they're just not as crisp. The bass is actually better in the Sony's than in the Beats. But the Beats just have a better overall sound. But the Sony's are an excellent choice if your limit is $200.
