These are really solid headphones. Sony makes great headphones. That said, I wish this model had a few things: 1) A way to turn down the bass other than "on" and "extra bass" 2) They don't fold, which makes traveling with them somewhat cumbersome 3) The battery seems to not hold a charge very well between long periods of charging. 4) The ear padding is THICK - which make these really stand out when you're wearing them. If you're looking for something more streamlined, you'll want to look elsewhere. In the end, the sound is great.

I knew I was getting a good set of headphones, I didn't realize how good they were. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

These are by far the best headphones I've ever had. They are well made and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

bought the grey silver metallic one. They look super sexy. The sound quality I'd say are way better than the other "popular" branded name every one jumps to. The bass in itself is bar far mind blowing good. No muffle sounds, its all just crisp and clear. Only thing I'd wish was, that it came with a case or even some sort of protective sleeve when not in use. Although I bought these for only $99 on black friday weekend special, these are again, even good for their normal price.

For the money you can't beat the value. In my opinion these sound much better than sub $150 Bose headphone or the Beats.
