My son wanted these for his birthday. He is a teen and the kids these days seem to like the huge bass and not care about the highs or mids. His over the ear Beats were wearing out. Long story short, he loves the Sony headphones. We purchased them on sale. Additionally, we played with the EQ settings on his iPhone so that he can hear the highs and mids in the music now. I wanted the Sony X1000, but honestly, these big bass headphones have given me pause. They sound good, big bass, and the charge lasts a long time. He is really pleased with his gift.

I bought these for my brother in law and he is very happy with these. I got them for $99 and this price is unbeatable for the quality of the product. I have the previous model and was very happy with it. The new one has extra bass which just adds to the product.

The bass boost is honestly unnecessary because it can make the music sound muddy and I listen to 90% rap. I have used the bass boost on some old DJ Magic Mike and it was pretty entertaining and ear drum rattling. The battery lasts a long time on these and they are very comfortable. Best headphones I have ever bought.

I purchased this set of headphones while they were on sale - so for the price I paid I feel I've gotten an excellent value. The sound quality is above average and the wireless range is about 60 feet. They're pretty comfortable but not as comfortable as some of the Bose headphones, but I paid half the price of the Bose.

These headphones work exactly as described. I find I only use the Bass Boost feature on certain albums/tracks as the Bass is fine in "normal" mode. The volume control is great and I have no issues with the battery life. Overall, an excellent choice...

After trying several other brands of over-the-ear headphones, these were the only ones that were large enough to fit comfortably over my ears (and my ears are not unusually large). They sound great and paired easily with my iPod, computer, and Dish Hopper.

Bass boost is wonderful, battery life is decent. I like the touch Bluetooth pairing. Only real issue and this is because the encompass the entire ear. During workouts all sweat accumulated inside the headphones. Which means I need to take them off every 10 minutes to wipe them off. Audio quality is better then the beats solo's I had previously, although I still prefer in ear, but you can't have them in for an extended period of time, this I can do so with no problem

I paid $80 for these , normally $199. Mega Bass that's more accurate at lower volumes. If you leave the mega Bass on at higher volumes the bass quickly becomes over modulated . So for high volume listening I recommend regular mode. (Non mega Bass ). The battery life is remarkable. Using my headphones on average of 3 hours a week . Lasted about 5 weeks between charges. Sitting in a cold car in the middle of a Vermont winter while not in use . Very comfortable too. The vinyl padding may get sweaty at the gym. So plan for the occasional slip off .

Having owned Sony headphones before I decided to give these a try. I went into a Best Buy on Black Friday and saw these bad boys on sale. I liked the look of them so decided to try them out. As soon as I put them on I loved how comfortable they were and once I hit play, I was in love. Very sharp clean sound and amazing bass. I wanted headphones that completely cover my ear, not just sit on my ear like many other headphones. Compared to Beats, which are overpriced and overhyped in my opinion, these actually sound just as good if not better. I know these aren't as popular or as "cool" as beats but trust me, you will not be disappointed. As far as features go I'm also impressed. These are my first wireless headphones and I love how easy it connects. After the first time you sync your phone, computer, etc. to these headphones it instantly connects each time you press on. These headphones come with a charging cable so no need to swap out batteries which is another plus to me. It has a "bass boost" button which as you would guess greatly increases the bass in every song. But honestly it sounds great even without it. Lastly I like how it has all the controls on the headphones itself. Meaning I can play/pause, skip tracks, increase/decrease volume, answer phone calls from the headphones themselves without having to touch my phone. If I had to complain it would be that these headphones do not come with a case to store them, which isn't a big deal to me but might be to some. Overall I would recommend these to any music lover and I would buy again. Sound quality 10/10 Comfort 10/10 Look of headphones 9/10 Wireless functions 10/10

I listened to both these Sony headphones and Boss at the store. I liked these Sony ones better. They have Bluetooth which was what I was looking for. Also have bass boost which I don't need that much, but good feature. I recommend these over Boss or Beats.

Choose these over the beats, i decided i actually prefer these because of the superior bass. I went it expecting to buy beats, left with these. Saved money and got a better product! win win!

Probably one of my favorite headphones to date! If you like your music loud and bass to the point where it rattles your head, then these are the right pair for you. I use mine to workout in and i haven't had any problems when it come to sound leakage, or the headphone falling off. The Ear cup design fits nice and snug over my ears and barely move at all whenever i am exercising. battery life is amazing with almost 20 hours of non stop play, so no worries on having to charge them everynight. overall one of my best picks for headphones.

I was looking for a good set of over the ear headphones but, as a practical man, didn't want to spend big money. Tried them in the store and loved them, but glad I waited, as the next day they were $50 less expensive. They are as advertised. Terrific bass. Loved the Bluetooth feature more than I expected. Super comfortable, could wear them all day. Great sound for $100 less than a set of beats or Bose headphones. My only criticism would be that with some music, especially lower quality audio, the bass can be overpowering and the music won't sound as sharp.

This was my first time buying headphones, I've always used earbuds, and I have got to say these headphones are quite comfortable, they have good sound, and the BASS! Haha. I use the bass boost a lot. I purchased mine in black, then returned later that night because my sister liked then and got her a pair as well.

Bought them for a trip I was going to take and needed new headphones. Flight was long but as soon as I put them on I couldn't feel them. Felt like pillows. The wireless option was a plus too

These are extremely comfortable headphones with good sound. I spent a quite a lot of time researching headphones and these were by far the most comfortable of the highly reviewed headphones I tried on. In addition to comfort, sound quality is good especially considering they're bluetooth. While the base boost feature is nice, I have not needed to use it as the normal mode provides plenty of base in my opinion. Finally, the range is great. I have had my phone at one end of the house and walked around all the way to the other without any hitches in sound or loss of connection.

The first wireless headphones I saw were the ones that wrapped around your head horizontally- I was never fond of that design. These, however, definitely fit the bill. The sound is good, and they're comfortable to wear. It's time we all say no to cords!

If you love bass. Then these are the headphones for you. Super comfortable feels great on your ears for long periods of time. They look great, they feel great and most importantly they put off tons of bass. I absolutely love these headphones.

my son absolutely loves these. was thinking about getting him some Beats, but after comparing, the decision was easy. these headphones pair easily, run for hours and hours on a single charge and have great sound. definitely a solid purchase.
