I read several mixed reviews about these before I made my purchase and was somewhat hesitant about buying them due to the price. I caught them on sale and decided to buy them. They may not be top of the line, but they are a very good buy. I really like them.

I have had real good experience with Sony products in the past and these headphones are no different. The bass response (depending on the program source) is a bit heavy otherwise these sound good. They are very comfortable (at least on my ears.). Good job Sony.

Bought for Teenage son; very good sound, sturdy, handy to use either as bluetooth or with connected cord. My son says, extremely good base amplification!

I have to say this has been my best overall purchase for my son in a while. First I kinda thought these things were a little bulky but the great sound that that comes from these things more than makes up for any misgivings. And the the extra cushion they have make them extra comfortable also. So let me also say my daughter has a pair of beats that we have had to have repaired 2 times in the last 3 years while the Sony continues to sound great and beat on. So the quality is great. Comfort is great !! And the sound is incredible!!!Just a great overall product.

This is worth the money. Better sound quality than the Beats.

I was skeptical of buying these headphones, but I needed something quick and I didn't want the Beats headphones because they are over priced, and the sound quality isn't that much better than these are.

Great Bass response, heavy sound, not very flat response curve. I own a custom sound / audiophile business so I have a VERY tuned ear and know very well what sounds good and what doesn't. I wanted these as a throw around headset to put one while doing work after hours. Great set for that. These are NOT for someone wanting to hear every detail, or produce an accurate representation of the artists intention of their music. These have great sound however only average clarity and tonality. They are extremely comfortable for extended use. Great for Rock, R&B, Alternative, Rap, Pop etc. Not ideal for classical, vocal, traditional jazz, or super audio. These would be great for a travel set.

Bought for son. He wanted Beats, but the Beats in this price range weren't rated that well by users. I would have to step up in the $300 range of Beats to get excellent quality and I wasn't ready to do that. So far so good, easy to pair and sound good for an 11 year old using. Only 4 stars as I don't know the durability yet

I used to always by Beats but I was getting tired of the cheap quality that they were made of. So I was at Best Buy checking out headphones and found these. Check so reviews on my phone and gave it a listen. All I can say is "WOW". The quality of the sound blew Beats away. Even the quality in the construction was 10 times better. I have had my headphones since Christmas 2016 and haven't had any issues. Hooked up easy and fast via bluetooth, doesn't drop connection, can answer phone calls, look cool with the blue, I can't say enough good things about them.

The headphones were easy to setup and charge. Sound quality is superb. I brought another brand prior and they were wireless earbuds. I was not satisfied with the sound quality and returned them a week later. I looked these Sony Wireless Extra Bass up and loved the previous reviews. I love that the extra bass is optional with the press of a button. The sound quality is good, there are some movies extra bass is not needed. Even when the volume is turned up, sound quality is not lost. Great purchase and I love the color blue. Very stylish.

I had been looking for Bluetooth headsets. I found these at Best Buy and purchased two sets for the holidays. One to give as a gift and the other for myself. We were both more than pleased with the quality and ease of use. I will highly recommend them to others.

Terrific sound and quality! I bought several pair. The Beats are overpriced and I'm not a fan of wearing a rappers logo! The Bose are great as well and I bought 1 pair of the higher end, but these are by far the best value without sacrificing quality.

I've used Beats Studio, Solo, and in-ear. Then switched to Bose. These Sony MDR-XB950BT headphones are a perfect mix of comfort (over ear), convenience (wired and Bluetooth), and quality. I run often for 1- 4 hours training, and they sound great and never feel heavy, though they look heavy due to their size. Bass Boost feels a bit gimicky to me, it works, but requires more battery time and, as a professional musician, prefer the cleaner sound. Even this is actually great, because the Bass Boost feature is an on/off button that doesn't need to be implemented. Nice!

These head phones are Amazing!! All kids want top of the line everything and me being a mother of 3 had to find a reasonable pair of head phones for my 12yr girl. The sound is similar to the others and it does the job. Very Very Happy with the product.

I was looking for headphones for my 15 year old. A guy that I work with uses these all the time and after trying his out as well as checking them out in store I was hooked. My son loves them and I do as well after getting them half off on Black Friday.

these blow any set of beats out of the water. for the price, I don't think there is a better quality set of headphones. As I said, i think they even beat many brands that are more expensive. another great product from Sony. As soon as i bought a pair, my roommate actually and went and got a pair because he liked them so much.

I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 mostly because the headband doesnt stay tight around you head, they dont fall off but you can tell that it get more loose, and also the drivers in these head phones aren't amazing but they do have a good range, and with the bass booster button they really have great low end for hiphop, edm type music. The average music listener may not notice any faults with the drivers, which isnt a bad thing. Comparing these to my old sol republic tracks the sols sound and feel marginally better. The driver in the sols are slightly better unfortunately that set is wired, they may make a wireless version but im not certain. All in all these sonys are actually pretty good.

Bluetooth wireless and cabled options. Xtra bass is too xtra for me. Although these are not noise cancelling the over the ear pieces effectively isolate you at medium loud volume. Also includes a built-in microphone so is a headset in addition to headphones.
