These are great headphones for the price. I would easily compare them to higher priced headphones.

I would recommend these for people who are not audiophiles. With the extra bass button on, to me, it does seem the bass is overpowering but would be good for bass heads. Overall, the sound is very well balanced and rounded. You cant go wrong with these.

Long run time. Sony claims 14 hrs, and I hit around there before I have to charge. Sound is nice for (I don't always run the bass boost). I was able to get these on sale and Best Buy price matched a sale for further price reduction.

The headphones are very comfortable and the sound is amazing. The noise cancelling is wonderful. I use my headphone for my frequent international flights. Works well on the plane for watching movies and cancelling out unhappy babies.

I bought these to replace my Skullcandy Grind headphones, which broke after a 6 inch fall off the bed. These headphones have been wonderful! I wear them at the gym and they are super comfy, the sound is great and they are really durable.

I found the sound on these to be comparable to all the other major brands out there. They are big, but they work well and they are comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they did not come with a carry case like Bose and Beats do. Other than that, they are on the same playing field.

I like to have this on my head always to enjoy the music with real sound.

Sound quality just as good if not better than beats. Plus they have extra bass. I've had all different models of beats headphones and none come close to the bass of these Sony headphones and for way less money. Quality is also way better.

After searching tirelessly for the perfect set of headphones, I have finally found them. Coming from the MDR-XB500's I didn't think I could find a better pair, but I proved myself wrong. Long story short, they handle every note with precision but don't break the bank! Sony you've made another superb audio product, and these are such a pleasure to listen too and keep a smile on my face! Before you go blow a few hundred or more, check the Sony's out and you can thank me later! Price:Listed for $199, luckily some idiot put them in the wrong place in the store, so I got them for only $120, An early Christmas gift from the wifey! Style: Very modernistic,, sexy, and classy although not as fancy as Beats or Sennheiser, but they will catch your eye immediately. Comfort: Extremely, you can wear these things for however long you desire and they won't hurt your head like others. They also stay firmly attached while I am dancing up a storm. They feel just like pillows on your ears, so comfy just like the XB-500's which I love. Sound Quality: Top Notch and better than competitors such as Beats. The low end on these cans are incredible, and once you hit the Bass Boost feature be prepared to have subwoofers blasted in your ears. No headphones I have ever heard can pound out the bass notes and still sound crisp like these bad boys. The highs and mids both are very well refined and not muddy or sharp, they are evenly balanced and perfect where they can go loud without hurting your ears just like the very best speakers are designed to do,...sound natural without overdoing it. You don't even need to use an EQ that's how crystal clear the 950's are, and to every single genre. I listen to a variety from EDM to Rock to Hip Hop to Pop and then some, trust me they can handle any kind of music you throw at them and won't distort @ high volume. They sound better than most at a fraction of the cost, literally! I know they aren't considered audiophile grade but give them a listen and you'll be surprised my friends! Build Quality: Wonderful and very durable, not cheap plastic like most. Battery Life: Amazing, 4 hours to charge, lasts 20 hours!!! Sony supplied an a/v cable in case the battery dies, you still can jam to some good music. Bluetooth: Great, I can walk about 10 feet outside my apt and they will stay connected. Love that they have a built in mic for calls. Very easy to pair also. Features: Play, Pause, Volume, Track Up/Down and Bass Boost all on the unit.

Good solid pair of wireless bluetooth over-ear headphones. Much better sound quality than that other brand that rhymes with "meats." Very comfortable headphones. Plus: comfortable, easy to pair, great sound, free yourself from the wire tether, bass boost. Negative: No noise cancellation, mostly plastic construction (same as that more $$ brand that rhymes with "Meats."

These headphones sound great. Probably even better than my Beats Studios.

Bluetooth or wired! Really works well and has a great sound.

Previously purchased the JBL Everest Elite 700 Bluetooth headphones, however, they have a defect which prevents them from pairing with the new AppleTV-4. They sounded great though when paired with my iPhone and have an app that provided a high level of granular control over sound preferences. In comparison, the Sony's emphasis on bass produced muffled voices when watching videos, an overall unnatural sound -- even with Extra-Bass turned off. They also heated up my ears to an uncomfortable level after about 10 minutes of wear. Music sounded OK, but not great and not as good as the JBL Everest Elite 700's. These 2 products have been my first try at over-the-ear headphones, previously only used the earbud type -- was hoping to find something with richer sound and comfort, the Sony's aren't it. While I wouldn't personally recommend these, I would suggest someone try them out and see if the fit and sound are acceptable to their ears, and try some others too. Everyone's different and I don't think there is a one-for-all bluetooth headphone on the market :-)
