I ordered the Gold Wireless Headset for my 11 year old twin boys--grandkids--to be used with their PlayStation 4, at Christmas. They were so excited to see the color and design of the unit, instead of basic black. That was a surprised for them. Then big smiles as they described the sound quality to me. A perfect gift!

Bought this for a gift and she loved it. It was an open box item in excellent condition. I was not disappointed sometimes, I use it shhh. the color looks nice. The sound is great! I Love that there's a mute button for the microphone if you dont want to speak in the game chat. Just mute the mic.

Great sound quality not bulky and very comfortable

I got it on sale on Black Friday to replace my old Sony PlayStation headset because the headset connectors you wear over your head broke after a few years. The sound is good but it is a little flimsily built and can break after a few years, but the lower price counters that cheaper feel build a bit.

Love these headphones. I always hated the plug into controller headphones cause it’s only one sides and they never stay in my ear, plus the sound sucks. That’s not the case with these. Everything you need on your headphones is easily accessible on these while gaming. Recommended

Great headset and super helpful for playing online and chatting with friends. Only complaint is that it doesn't fold well for stowing/storing after gameplay. The more expensive model allows you to fold for compact storing...seems like it was intentional. Anyway, great product, highly recommend otherwise!

The look of the headset is nice. Sound quality is excellent. Sound of the mic needs improvement. Was a little bit difficult to configure the sound and mic in the beginning but after messing with it for 10 minutes finally figured it out. Works on PS4, PS4 pro and Nintendo switch. Surround sound is excellent.

I had the older version of this head set, and thought I’d give this one a try. It is so much better than the old one. It is much more durable. And it is very noise canceling. Which is awesome! Overall a great headset

Best wireless headphones I have ever used. You can really hear sounds that you don't normally hear when wearing regular headphones. You can upload different audio game files to these headphones. Down side is that you need to charge them everyday.

I wish the headset was Bluetooth and didn’t require the USB adapter . The sound quality is great and the functions to easily go from chat to game sound volume is nice. Could be a tad more comfortable though. After a while it bothers my ears but would easily use these over other gaming headsets I’ve had in the past.

Honestly I’m shocked how well these work, and how good they feel. Only thing to keep in mind, when chatting with friends you can do so wirelessly, but it sounds pretty bad unless you plug the headset into your controller. So you’ll at least be tethered to your controller. Not a big deal to me.

The newly updated Sony Gold headset is a fantastic upgrade to the first generation model. The sound quality has improved drastically almost to the point of too detailed. The high end on this headset can be a bit much at times for my ears. I find myself leaving the volume on the low end to mask some of the explosions that tend to hurt these old man ears. The overall build quality is what you would expect from a headset in this price range. Being all "polished" plastic they look nice but don't have an premium feel. Frankly at this price point they are exactly what they should be. The one down side of this new generation would be they removed the ability to fold the headset for easy travel. If you are unaware the previous model allowed you to fold down the headset for easy packing these have now moved to an one piece band design which feel great but make it more difficult to travel with. All in all if you are exclusive to the PS4 you can't go wrong with these. At $99 they are one of the best buys out there for the PS4.

Great sound through the headset with PlayStation. The microphone is so quiet when not speaking since background noise is cancelled that people keep asking if I’m still online. Glad to have wireless headset so I don’t have to worry about cables breaking.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the new gold headset. Great sound quality, easy setup and lots of control on headset. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of significant bass. But some people may like that.

My purchase of the Sony Gold Wireless Headset was one of the BEST purchases I have ever made for an everyday gamer. It's great that it is wireless I am more mobile. My wife don't like them because now I can't hear her at all lol!! :)

Decent quality, comfortable, and not crazy expensive. Fair warning tho, if you have your router and other devices close to your PS4 you will want to use a USB extender to move the dongle away from everything else, otherwise you will get interference.

This headset is great if you want a wireless headset with great sound quality. The microphone is clear and picks up your voice very well. The surround sound option works so well with playstation VR it feels like you can point out where the sounds are coming from!

My husband bought these for himself. He uses them when he games. He likes them because they're not too tight on his head. Meaning it won't give you a headache if you're gaming for a long time. They're also easy to wipe off with alcohol wipes. Same wipes to clean glass.

I have never owned a headset so I was a little worried I would have trouble using it but it's super easy. I also really love the color. The sound is great, especially for multiplayer games. You can hear the footsteps of your enemies pretty accurately.

The redesigned Gold headset solves all the problems from the first generation. The sound has always been great and the levels are balanced but removing the hinges makes this a complete product. I owned the original headset and my hinges broke, but with this model I am very satisfied
