So far I really like them. They’re not the most comfortable pair of headphones which is why I gave four stars. The surround sound and mic are amazing as well. I just wish they were a little comfier! Perfect for any video game. I can hear so much better in them.

I really like the sound quality of these headphones. My only problem was that they're a little small for me, but then again, I am 6'7" and larger than most people. Even so, they're not too uncomfortable and I can still hear everything just fine, even if it's a bit snug on my ears.

The build quality of this is much more durable than the first gen gold headsets. Although it has the same driver, it sounds much more crisp. In addition, you can add 3D audio files to supported games, which makes those games even more immersive!

The headset is nice and comfortable. The controls are a little confusing and difficult to adjust on the fly, but overall a good headset. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is, because when using as a corded headset, there is no way to mute that I can find.

Perfect the the gamer In your life. I was told that quality headphones makes a gamers life so much easier and efficient. These are great quality appealing to the eye. Synced well with the PlayStation.

Work fine, microphone is fine. It connects via a dongle if you're using it on PC but as I understand that's about the best way to connect a bluetooth device regardless of whether your PC is bluetooth capable.

I was never the type of gamer that would wear headphones until I wore these. These literally changed my whole perception of what wearing headphones were about. The sound quality with these are amazing. Worth every penny!!

Headset sounds good but I wish the charging cable would work better the fit is to lose have to get it at and angle for it to start charging if I’m lucky more then half the time it doesn’t even charge been through like 5 cables not happy about that part

I purchased these for my daughter. She does like the sound coming through the headphones while playing her PS4. I'm thankful I also purchased the warrenty because these $100 headphones have broken 3xs because the plastic material is easily broken.

This headset works well for PS4. I like that I can chat without any wires. Only a few times people said they couldn’t hear me, but I have over 300 hours with this headset and it’s the best I’ve had in a while. It’s also more comfortable than the last version.

I have used previous models of the Sony Gold and Platinum headsets, and was quite pleased with them all. But I feel from this headset model to now, they've really dropped the ball in terms of quality and longevity. The inside of one has began to come apart (no more than a year in). My biggest complaint by far is how uncomfortable they are, especially if you wear glasses. If you do, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere, as they start to hurt after 30 mins of use (if lucky). Sound quality is fair, and the ability to choose which to hear more (party chat/game audio) is definitely nice. But overall, I couldn't recommend these.

I am not a hard core gamer. These are perfect for playing games and online play. The sound is good. These are the first headphones for gaming I have puchased, so I can't compare to others. I'm satisfied.

Great headphones. Have had no issues with it what so ever. Works great with my sons PS4 and looking forward to see how it does with the PS5. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality headset

So I used to love my old style of the PS4 Gold headsets but the plastic headband wasn’t flexible enough and snapped on the top. So I picked these up and the new build is pretty solid. They feel like they’re not as fragile as the old set. However, the range out of the box sucks. My PS4 sits in a cabinet so I was sitting 4 feet from it for it to work. I had to get a USB 3 extension cable to get the dongle out of the cabinet and the range seems to have improved. Very dumb. Old headset didn’t have that issue at all. All Sony had to do was put an new headband on the already existing headset guts. They went too far and kind of ruined an already good product. I got them on sale so I’m not too upset but I’m not super happy with them.

I go thru headphones like underwear...these seem the best of the 100$ or less headphones..take it from me as I have gone thru 10 with my two destructicon boys..they take a bit to learn the buttons when in the dark but after that it’s game on

This new Gold headset is amazing! Works really well with the companion app. Crystal clear sound that makes you feel as if you were actually in the game. You hear the smallest sounds that you can’t normally hear in other headphones or home stereos. Great Buy!

The sound quality of the headset was great. It fit well, has easy volume control, and has high quality sound. The major downside to this is chat audio is terrible. People cannot hear you, it sounds muffled, it echoes the voices of other people talking, and there is no way to fix. Tried adjusting every setting. Saw many others with the same problem, but I tried these because I love the old version. Had to return these in two days because nobody could hear me.

I bought these to replace my old PS headphones. I’m a big believer in products from the same company, when using wireless connectivity, SHOULD work pretty flawlessly. These were great for about 8 months? I’m not surprised that the quality went down over time with constant use, but I didn’t expect it to be that soon. My old PS headphones I had for YEARS and while they were near coming apart physically, they still sounded great. I’m just disappointed at how quick I started having sound and connectivity issues. I get static once in awhile and sometimes the sound will just die out for about 1-2 seconds and come back.

Didnt give 5 stars because i prefer other head sets for the quality of sound but for the money the sound is hard to beat. Hard to find headsets that sound like this for that price. Also not the greatest battery life compared to other sets.

And I have experienced no connectivity issues whatsoever. Ot charges really quickly and the charge lasts for quite a while! I've read a couple reviews where people said it's flimsy and cheaply made but I find it quite sturdy.
