Unfortunately it does not work well with the Sony camera- had to return it - it is not compatible totally with it - depends on what camera you have whether I would recommend it or not -

I bought this to go with the Sony ZV - 1 for my daughter. I guess for the price I thought it would be more than what it is. I mean, it’s basically a stand, no extension/ tele ability, moves button control from camera? I would buy an articulating and adjustable small tripod and a remote Bluetooth shutter button over this for sure.
