    Not the best still photos. The top hatch for the add on flash always comes apart. But the 4K quality is worth the downfalls of this camera

    The eye piece is a must for out doors. Even with a hood the monitor gets washed out by the sun. The unit is adequate for it's price point.

    We actually bought the FDRAX33/B on Black Friday 2015. It always worked fine until now. All of a sudden, the display is frozen on a white screen with an error code of E:61:30 flashing upper right corner (see photo). I updated the firmware to version 1.10 and it still the same. I have done everything Sony’s website said to do for E: codes. I saw that other review sites said the same thing.

    Great camera, but it gets out of focus sometimes and its hard to get it back in focus unless you move the camera elsewhere then back.

    Tried the Ax33 and although it's a great camcorder I opted to take it back and exchange for the Ax53. Ax53 had more optical zoom which I prefer
