Horrible not user-friendly and not good one to return it

I bought this camcorder as a birthday present for myself and love this camera. Can do lots of different things with the manual settings using the ring. Also a plus is the camcorder bag that is comes with even though it is super tight fit. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Nice companion for my new 4K TV. Chose this for Steady Shot feature.

This Sony - Handycam AX33 4K Flash Memory Camcorder is the best and most convenient camcorder to have. it is also small and light weight and fits in small bags. The functioning is very easy and the playback is great.

After 6 years of service my Sony HDR CX150 developed a problem so I went back to buying a Sony and since this was the next step up (4K) I went with it. The only problem I have is that you have to hold the camera very very steady or you will get ROTATIONAL shake that even my editing program (Cyberlink Powerdirector) cant seem to correct, otherwise the quality is Great. The camera is quite a bit larger and heavier than my old one, but manageable. Overall I love it.

Probably going to love the camera but I wish our bestbuy salesman had told me I needed a memory card for it. Very aggravating to open it Xmas morning and try and record the kids opening and playing with their gifts only to find out it doesn't work without an additional purchase. I would happily have bought the card when I bought the recorder but of course there is no indication on the box that I needed to buy one and the useless salesman obviously didn't know either. Bestbuy either needs to hire some qualified staff or at least train them on the products they are selling.

Usability was very good. Setup menus are well organized and easy to follow. I liked the viewfinder and the tripod mount. The recording and playback experience was great. I ultimately returned it,though: 1) 5.1 ch recording is only available in 1080p. 4K is limited to 2ch. 2) Transferring video to a computer for editing involves plugging the camera into a USB port and uploading using their somewhat cumbersome software package. I don't understand why you can't just plug the memory card in and copy mp4 directly. I had a Cannon 1080p flash recorder and that worked fine. I will be buying a refurbished Canon camera for much less than I paid for this one. Store experience was as good as I could expect from an amateur salesman. The return process was a breeze. I would recommend this camera to anyone not interested in video production, although it's too expensive for that.

Inexpensive and worked great for what we needed them tho i do rwcomemd a lot of light dark rooms lended tpward to much grain from the ligh sensor

This is a great camera. Love the wireless linking features and the manual focus. Very pleased.
