Sony’s software to edit film is ending. The battery lasts a long time, but the controls are hard to use as touch screen. Also only out is micro hdmi so hard to find. Bought a card reader but that didn’t work. Not user friendly, but I used it right out of the box learning on the fly. The battery lasted 4 hrs of continuous shooting so pleased about that. Hard to edit film without software. Sony doesn’t support Play Memories anymore and could not export edited film to memory card.

This little camcorder is amazing. The picture is unbelievable. Small, light and well built. The image stabilization system on it does a great job of keeping it steady and honestly if you like walking around it it, it will be smooth. Very happy with this product.

Bought this video camera to help shoot local football games. It has never failed and works great even during night games. The Zoom lens on this camera works great from the press box. Can read every players name on their jerseys.

Great camcorder with 4K awesome video quality and easy usage.

We use this at church for capturing the service live. Does a very clean job of sending the feed to other viewing sources. Zoom is excellent. The menus are easily navigated. The only challenge has been figuring out how to do the direct mic feed without getting static. The onboard mic is very good, but it sometimes picks up too much of everything.

Great features and quality. Also got on sale. It's a little larger than I would prefer but light and versatile.

This camera has been great so far. We bought it to replace an aging livestreaming camera for our church. This camera stopped down to 1080p has been fantastic. My only issue is that you cannot adjust any menu items while streaming or the menu pops up on the stream. We have used the time lapse features and filmed in 4K both have worked well.

I haven't taken much 4k video prior to buying this camera but since then have been finding excuses to video as much as possible. Video quality is great although you can't manually adjust more than one setting, which might be limiting. But for someone who just wants to record family and road trips, it's an easy, light, and simple camera that provides great image quality.

We have used this mainly for outdoor recording. It has worked flawlessly in low light situations.

Found this camera as an open box item at my local Best Buy and got the unit for an extremely great price, but I do feel the regular sale price is really good for what you get in this prosumer camera. Won't get into super specifics but I have no regrets with the purchase. Simply just a great camera with great features for a great price.

The camera is lightweight, easy enough to operate. This requires separate purchase of memory card. You do need to read up on it to make some changes when using it freehand or on a tripod for the motion. When using the 4k video mode it does require the SDXC or better memory card. Only drawback is the video is very large compared to standard HD recording.
