I have enjoyed it fully thus far. It cramps your hand at times but it was expected. I appreciate the automatic settings since I just wanted it for basic recording since i’m no expert or have much knowledge on it. I appreciate the option for photos and video that’s a nice touch and night vision is pretty interesting to. I might just be bias since I been wanting this for a while now and finally decided to get it.

I use this camera for work as Im a private investigator and the footage is great my clients are happy... No more shaky footage as the camera has a 5-axis Intelligent Active for camera shake, even when shooting while running.

Perfect camcorder for someone who needs a stabilizing Function built in. Makes a great camcorder for active people. I did a fair amount of research before buying. The person whom it was gifted, absolutely loves it. Even has night vision functions.

Great camera and perfect for filming sports. The picture is crystal clear when filming day or night.

I would give this camera five stars but I have found issues with recording in certain lighting and cannot make certain adjustments. I have taken really good videos with this camcorder. I will admit in a few different lighting conditions it did take really good videos.

It's a great 4k shooter in both bright and low light conditions. Sony doesn't include any software to burn 4k to either Blu Ray or DVD. I had to use LeawoBlurayCreator to create BluRay disk from the 4k content after failed attempts to use Roxio Toast Titanium 14 on my Mac (El Capitan) as that didn't recognise the mp4 format of the imported file...(Sony PlayMemories helps with importing there video from the camera to Mac) I'm happy with the video and audio quality of the camera...

I purchased this camera to go along with my other cameras I use in video production. At first I thought it was overkill and I really didn't need to 4K but after using it for a couple months now in multiple settings, I would highly recommend this to anyone considering an upgrade to their gear

Use for recording services at the church that we then put on YouTube. The camera works well for the services. I plan to use the night vision feature for doing some nature video games. Camera is easy to use and adjust settings.

I am a complete novice when it comes to shooting video, but I needed a hobby that would give me enjoyment. To that end I researched the latest video equipment, talked to some friends at work who had a lot more knowledge about photography than I do, and came to the conclusion that the choice for me was either the Sony AX33, AX53, or the AX100, if I wanted to jump into the 4K video game. So I got the AX53 and, as suggested to me, I bought it at Best Buy. It's worked out great. The video stabilization and the 4K clarity almost completely make up for my lack of experience, and I'm having a blast. The touch screen menu is user friendly and I learn more tricks every day.

I did a lot of research, and for the money an open box version of this camera was my best bet for a great 4k pic. Its still very expensive but if 4k is a priority you cant go wrong. I film my channel on youtube (Beyond Examination) with it if youd like to see it in action!

This Sony Handyman takes great video. We had an older model Sony Handyman for almost 10 years and never had any problems. This product so far has been amazing...the video quality is even better than we expected....hoping to get 10 trouble-free years out of this one as well!

This is an excellent video camera. Bought it to film my daughters band performance. Pricy but good images.

Just as its name, this product is very handy. The built quality is second to none, and video quality is satisfactory as it supports 4k. The one small issue is relatively long charging time.

I purchased this camera on sale. Used to record a special event for a close friend. They were amazed at the detail and picture quality. I received lots of compliments. Money well spent.

It may not beat the convenience of carrying a smart phone but the video is way superior than the smartphone. You can record much longer video and with the right software you can edit the video and upload it to your computer or internet easily.

The touch screen is great, but I often find I don’t really need to do much with the menu. It ends up kind of being a little bit in the way. But the picture is absolutely amazing. I would just warn you that the videos take up a lot of space because of the video resolution, so be prepared to store all your videos

The image stabilization is AWESOME. The output on this si so much nicer than action cameras. I like the Sony color profile you get out of camera. The sony app is not that great to control it and needs major work.

The quality is superior to any camera of this caliber I have ever purchased. Be careful when recording in 4K if yo will be rendering it. It takes forever due to the size of the file. This camera also allows you to tape in 1080 and AVCHD which renders in normal time.

The camcorder is just superb. The picture quality leaves nothing lacking, and the features are more than I can discover. I've had it for a month and have used it extensively, and can't really find anything to complain from. And its very much worth the price.
