The quality of the recordings and the technology is top notch. I’m normally not one to by just because of the brand name but Sony put out an amazing camera and my daughter who dances loves capturing her rehearsals to watch herself. Excellent camera hands down.

This camera has so many functions that are complimented by easy of use.

I am very pleased with this new camcorder. Ome of the best features is the ease with which I can transfer video to computer. No cables or other devices are needed. I removed the video card and inserted it in computer and transfer was super easy.

I've used action cameras, DSLRs, the whole lot. I made a leap of faith buying something so expensive just for filming short videos for my business, but this camera has not let me down. I do wish it had a wide lens to it, but it is still a fantastic camera.

Love this camera really clear but doesnt have internal memory.i brought a 128 mem card and im good. a little heavy so i recomend a stand which i think can work great.all in all a great camera for the money.

I love shooting videos with this. Whether its family memories or nature shots I am always pleased with the end result. It also does very well focusing even at full zoom. I'd have to say this is a very useful tool if your shooting a lot of movies.

This is my money maker. I capture video regularly for work and everyone is always very please with the videos I produce. The stabilizer is worth every penny spent on this item.

Sony did a good job with this camera, makes high quality video and has a lot of features. The built in stabilization is great for capturing video while holding the camera in your hands. No shaking even from my unstable dizziness!

I tried them all and NOTHING out there from any other manufacturer has the features in this $850 recorder. The high speed and 20x zoom is just that good! I tried many many others costing more and still returned to the AX53 because it just can't be beat.

I purchase the AX33 and have used a few camcorders in the past, but when I exchanged the AX33 with the AX 53 it was well worth it! I would purchase again. The internal stabilizer works very well even when you are zoomed in.

It’s a fantastic camera. But I learned which a lot of people don’t mention is there is a chance of you getting a “bad” one where it won’t let you record in 4K by rebooting itself after less than a minute or even in the faster pace HD, b/c once you go back to look at it, it’s no longer “there” to preview. But all I literally had to do was go back exchange it, get a new one & it’s perfect! The issue is a known, but yet not known issue. It will happen automatically if you buy a “bad” one. But if it works well off top, you’ll be fine! I was once Team Samsung until I got totally screwed by them! Now I’m Team Sony to the fullest. Should of went with them even years back, but I learned my lesson, & it made me appreciate my Sony even more!!! P.S. I use it for vlogging & making cool videos! Have fun & enjoy! I know I am!!!

The camera does everything one would need for recording those special events in one's personal or family life. I've also tried using it to do some streaming, and while I can't attest to the quality, it doesn't seem to be as simple and straight-forward as I was hoping.

This camera does everything I have needed it to so far. I bought this about a month ago and have not had a lot of chances to use it yet but seems to be a good high quality camera.

After using VHS Camcorders way back when, finally upgraded our video recording needs. This is a perfect camera for documenting dance recitals and all other precious moments that extended family is involved in. Nice and easy to use.

We purchased this camera to record our son's basketball games in order to find footage to send off to college coaches. It has worked well as long as the computer or television you are viewing it on is compatible.
