I bought the camcorder to record my daughter's basketball games plus other life events. It was an open box edition but seems to be good as new. I also bought a SanDisk - Extreme 128GB SDXC memory card. With the 128GB card, the camera has worked great. However, when I used my older 8GB card, it had a couple minor issues requiring the camcorder to be restarted or have the battery removed and replaced to clear. I recommend getting the extreme versions of the memory cards to make sure to get the best quality and performance. I also would have liked to have a separate battery charger included so I would not have to plug in the camcorder each time to recharge. Overall, I love it!

We use AX33's for our business but needed something with a little more zoom. This fits the bill. Haven't been able to test thoroughly but so far, satisfied.

I purchased this camcorder to record sports and outdoor day and night activities. I recently used it at a family campfire and the low light night shot worked great. It doesn't record in true color when using this setting however it records clear images at night. I especially like the eye viewfinder that I used during the day because the viewing screen was hard to see in bright sunlight.

This camera is amazing. I use it all of the time and always get compliments on it. Everyone I know wants to take my camera home with them.

Sony finally made a pro consumer video cam, capable of professional results. I just wish they would incorporate the stabilization system to their AX100 4K. Never the less the AX53 is an outstanding product.

I have three of them. I would recommend this. These all 3 I use for live broadcasting.

This camcorder has Sony's BEST image stabilization system (BOSS), The main reason why I bought this 4K camcorder. The price is not too shabby either!

This camera works great. The picture is sharp, and even in low lighting. I haven't played with a lot of the features on it yet. Much better than the Cannon that I bought and returned quickly.

I am enjoying the camera. The picture is clear in low light as compared to previous cameras I have owned. In good light it is near perfect.

I have nothing bad I can say about this camera. For the price it is ridiculous. The stabilization is absolutely crazy good. Love it.

I will use it for taking family home movies as well as weddings and graduations. It's my first try at using a 4K camera and so far I like it.

Absolutely amazing! The balanced optical steadyshot is in a class by itsself. You can run with this thing and have smooth video its a trip lol
