Great, versatile camera. I like it very much. It is too bad that I can't get extra batteries, or SD cards at Best Buy, though! I had to go to another store for extras.

I wish you could've paused video recording, you have two options record or stop. overal camera is good.

We are sooooo happy with this camcorder. It's built solid, and it's the best one I've had yet. The image stabilization is wonderful, and the features are strong. It's also the only one we could find that has true night vision, which is so fantastic for things like dark rides at Disneyland. The monochrome gets on some people's nerves, but not me. I mount an extra IR light on it and everything comes across crystal-clear.

I love this camcorder; I have tried a few others but this one is the best one for me for now.

This camcorder was purchased as an "open box" item. I was not satisfied because the battery was a cheaper replacement. I returned the camcorder, and bought a new model.

Pretty good camcorder. I dont like the way it turns on by just opening the flap. Sony needs to fix this. Little bulky and wrist hurts a bit holding/shooting for long. Also it gets a little hot at the holding area and is a bit inconvenient.

nice camera and the quality of the video is very good, the remote app control is very bad and very limited for live streaming

This camera takes excellent videos day or nite.Stabilization is another great feature.

I have an older 2005 HVR-A1U and produces very good video. This one is fantastic in ability in transfer, resolution, and effects.

Don't have much time with this camcorder But so far so great Only thing I don't like is that is doesn't come with any sd card or case to put the camera in You basically just get the camera

very good camera, very good special effects, the recordings in low light is excellent that's what I was looking for.

Ok so by no means im a professional, but i can tell you i love everything about this camera, so far so good and i still havent found a issue or a small problem with it. 5 stars!

The only thing about this camcord it's a wifi and not a bluetooth so if u buy the stickhandle to zoom in/out sony brand will not work

Nice upgrade from my older sonys. and all the xtras such as mic and power tripods all work with it as well. Really nice in low light

I have used a lot of Sony products, they are of great quality, but this camera gives too different images with the same light.

This is not well made. I bought the black tie additional warranty for it, and ended up using it soon after I purchased the item. It was the ribbon cable that connects the flip out screen to the body of the camera. I didn't use it much after that, until recently when I wanted to film a concert at a nieces school, and it wouldn't focus at first, then went black and just made clicking noises, even after I'd turned it off! Since the warranty has run out, and I paid $800 for it, I'll reach out to Sony and see what they'll charge to repair (again). I would NOT recommend this item.

This is a great camera for filming outdoor sporting events. I definitely loved using my smartphone as the viewing screen. I would recommend buying at least a 60g memory card.

Relatively easy to use but sure could use an instruction manual with it instead of having to pay for one online. That's a little disgusting after spending $800
