    This camera seems best suited for outdoor sports. We tried to use it to record an indoor event with stage lighting and there still was considerable iso noise. My 6300 DSLR had better performance in the conditions significantly.

    This camera would have been perfect for all of my needs had this issue not occurred. I have tried half a dozen different microphones with no success and Best Buy's customer service told me that I was essentially out of luck as it was an out-of-box used item.

    After buying this I realized that iPhone still does better quality video in low light than this So called prosumer HD camcorder. My main issue with it is horrible low light performance, poor video quality playback on 70 inch TV and excessive shaking in zoom. Audio input is also very average. I have tried the Sony Ax -53 and if you are really into a camcorder need, you are better off with Panasonic or Sony under $1000 4K camcorder. I returned it in a day. A note on BestBuy return policy- With COVID-19 where in customers find it challenging to go inside and try different selections, BestBuy should really not charge the return fee if box is returned in 2 days.

    This Sony camcorder is by far the best camcorder I've owned. The quality of the 4K and 1080p videos is great. Autofocus works better than older versions.
