Good bargain camcorder

I got an open box one, and it works just fine. It’s very light, so I don’t know how sturdy it is. I wish the lens cover opened automatically and the LCD screen were a bit bigger.

It is still nice to have a dedicated video camera. The camera makes it easy to transfer video to a computer. Would buy again if needed.

Eleven year old Granddaughter likes it but I find it didn't respond to the buttons most of the time and frustrating. It takes nice video . Just not very user friendly. Too expensive for what you get.

Some reviews say that taking a photo while still recording makes a 5 sec delay in playback of video. This is not true. There is no pause or proof that a still photo was taken when a video is played back. I tested many times just to make sure.

Meets basic needs

He was so beyond excited and happy and absolutely loved every feature this product has to offer. Amazing price for such an excellent piece of equipment! His favorite feature is the fact you can create still shots from live video!

The optical stabilization is not very good. Purchased to use as a YouTube / vlogging camera and it works good for product reviews / talking head type videos. Not the best for vlog style videos because camera shake is pretty noticeable but not unusable and for the price not terrible. Don't like the charging cable setup, it's hard wired into the camera and only 6" long so if it gets damaged camera is junk. Videos can be downloaded to iOS devices via lightning to USB connector so that's nice since this model doesn't have built in wifi.
