It looked nice and looking at the visual quality on the cameras screen itself it looked great. I have a youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh6rF7NCWY0 using this camera. As you can see, it looks like something I would expect from a standard definition camera circa 2004. I had to go out and buy special software to edit this together, as windows movie maker does not support AVCHD or whatever the heck it is that Sony uses in order to be different from everybody else, which was an additional $35. When I lose footage and its the fault of the camera, that's when it goes bye-bye. I didn't have any sound on the last video that I recorded with it, so back to the store it went. Very, very disappointed. I went out and bought a Canon instead.
