I purchased this to video a theater performance. The quality was okay, nothing wonderful. I think this is probably a good camera for the beginner. It was light weight and easy to use. Long battery life. Good quality, just not exactly what I was hoping for.

It is lightweight, And it is very easy to use. I really love this. I bought a six dollar item to put on my dash and I screw it onto the top of it and it just suctions right there and videos as I go down the road. Of course it works extremely well in your hand as well.

Simple easy camera for anyone to use. Good quality video. Great for recreational use!

Got this for my little sister for her college. The video quality is great and easy to use. She mostly use it to take photographs of new places she has been to and the pictures look great!

This camera has a pretty good picture quality and zoom overall! Pretty good low light, tends to adjust focus a lot which kinda sucks. Would be so much better if able to use a live feed from camera to pc.

Love it so far! still figuring it out but love the built in usb cord that tucks right in the strap! great price, didn't need all the extra stuff so this one is perfect for my needs! It takes still photos & awesome videos & it is super light. Get to really try it out tomorrow, so excited!!!

I've gifted this product to my mum, she isn't a tech savvy, and she find ease in using the cam, camera quality is good, but I'd not say great, and hey its not SLR. The display is not touch screen, but the navigation is easy.

This camcorder is a great purchase. I love how I can record and then alter my recordings. This camera zooms in really well, especially on my son. I love how I can move the camcorder around constantly and not have any blurred images and it doesn't have to catch up to what I want to record.

Easy to use and a good starter camera for any one not sure how much into video recording they are going to get. If you are going to record an event of unspecified duration, it would be wise to get another battery or upgrade to longer lasting battery or a cord extension for charging while using would be a good thing as well. Resolution is OK, but if you want a higher resolution make sure to have very good lighting and don't be too far from your subjects. Owners manual that came with camera pretty basic.

Bought this for my son, 10. Very easy to use and many options for the price. Picture quality is good but as I am not the ultimate consumer, I am not sure what the editing capabilities there are. Definitely great value for the money.

Lightweight and feels cheap, but I totally underestimated the recorded video. Pros: not too complexed and not too costly, Cons: no port to connect an external microphone.

This camera works great for both stills and movies. I am handicapped and can't use my old c a near but as this one is easier to hold. I can't move fast enough to keep up with with our kitten but my roommate can't e other and she is not handicapped.

If you want an easy to use, lightweight, digital camcorder, this is the one for you. We used it right away for vacation footage and it was excellent. You don't need to spend hundreds to get a quality product.

I've been a SONY fan for a very long time. This camcorder is the perfect size for quick handling and has an outstanding picture quality. For me, it's just an extension of my arm now. The size makes it so easy to take anywhere without all my other photographic equipment.
