I use to record my child’s sports activity. I like the built in connection to charge or hookup to your tv to playback recordings. Image and sound quality is great for the price paid. I wish the battery had longer life...I just make sure to carry a fully charged spare battery with me just in case.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy a new camcorder so I could record better quality videos of trains and model trains and I am super satisfied with the high quality of the videos especially in 1080p. Compared to my old camcorder, the Sony DCR-SX85, it is definitely a much better upgrade. Once you figure settings out a little bit you will absolutely enjoy it. Anyone that likes to record trains and model trains this is a MUST HAVE!
