We have purchased this camera to use on our cruse in March. We have been tinkering around with it so we can be able to capture what we would like when we go. If any great changes in review, will post when we return.

Bought this for my 8 year old son. He wanted a video camera over a hoverboard...who would known? It’s been almost a year and I’m happy to report it has held up extremely well. Has great video quality for the price.

We have a dozen training programs coming up for work and needed a easy to use versatile camcorder and after checking reviews on line we chose this Sony Handycam. This was a great choice and is easy to use, has 8 hours or record time with a 128 Gb micro chip.

Small lightweight camera that gives you movies and stills. Even the wife can operate it. Only drawback is the small joystick type button.

I camera is very light. This is a good thing for carrying the camera around. It has a very good picture quality. The screen is small and hard to see what you are recording

There are many reasons to buy this Sony camcorder over the competition, but one thing really stands out. XAVC-S. The regular codec the competitors use is probably about 22 megabits. XAVC-S is 50 and normally used in broadcast television! That's a big difference and a gracious addition to this outstanding camcorder. That is the reason I will only buy Sony.

The Sony - Handycam CX405 Flash Memory Camcorder is easy to set up and use right out of the box. The large LCD screen and well laid out controls are intuitive and straightforward. It’s easy to transfer videos for viewing or editing.

I got the camcorder about three years ago. Initially I was using it weekly, now just occasionally. It's worked good and I've never had any problems with it. The higher end ones have more fancy features but this one is fine for my needs.

This video camera was very basic and simple to use. Average person could take it out of the box & begin enjoying it. Only complaint was the box did not indicate type of memory card. I needed to exchange the SD card with the correct MicroSD card.

Nice little camera. Videos are clear and quality is good enough for the price of the camera. My only concern is the plastic body and durability, and the limitation of only 32 GB sd card.

Replaced my older, heavier Sony camcorder with this camera and it's much more compact and does more than it's predecessor. No regrets!

Easy to use, very small and light. I bought it for a friend and she didn't like the video quality but I think is fine for the price. Still she wants to return it

Sony is always my go to for cameras and I am disappointed with the camcorder. Great pictures, use it inside and out and never have a problem. Only down side is it a little awkward to use the menu on the camera.

This is a great camera for people who want to start using cameras. It's got great focus and zoom capabilities. You just need multiple SD cards when you are recording for a long time.

Very light and easy to use. It does get hot when being used for over 10 minutes.

The camera works great. I love how light it is and how it fits in my hand comfortably. There's hardly any weight in the camera at all. I hope it lasts me for years to come.
