my wife and I love our handycam. We can take it every the small size is very convenient

The handycam was fine. It was an open box purchase and i see why. The battery was replaced with an old one. The battery it came with lasted less than 2 hours and would not recharge. Had to buy a new one. Shame on whoever returned this.

The camcorder may seem archaic in this age of smartphones,but if you want to separate the two then this cam is perfect. Great movies in a cmpact unit.Oh, did I mention it was at a great price.

This camera takes very good HD video with exceptional sound. It was slightly cheaper than the Cannon camcorder of the respectable size and Sony has always been a good brand (for me anyway).

This camcorder is great!!! pop in an sd card go your off and recording. I had and older model touchscreen but someone stole it at Disneyland I know out of all places :( I had to go out a buy a new one. First a got a cannon camcorder salesman said it was the best it was more $, it make noise when you would zoom in and out and the picture quality was not the greatest so of course I brought it back and got a Sony the one I wanted. oboy you should follow your instincts I know Sony makes in great cameras this is why I went back. This model Cost way less. I have no complaints other than don't listen to the salesperson Sony's number one.

I will recommend this product to anyone beginning to film make and practice with. Good Quality. Smooth and long lasting. Plus it's a good price.

Great camera for a starter also I got the camera because everyone uses thier phones but no one transfers them. Now with this you can TransFer it easy to disc on your computer.

Great small camcorder, light weight but powerful. Takes sharp videos, the zoom is awesome, easy to use. Long lasting battery. The charger usb is hide on the strap pocket. I have to look a video to find it out how to charge it. You can charge it directly on the usb socket or plug it with an extension female usb cord.

I need a new camcorder for my parents in-law for them to without a lot off buttons and gimmicks

This camera will do in a pinch when you're on a tight budget. However, don't expect a lot if you don't want to be disappointed. This is as basic as it gets. The only real benefit is a reasonably decent image and clean HDMI output if you want it. We'll see how it holds up over time but I'm not holding my breath.

Bought as a gift for my sister. She absolutely loves it and carries it everywhere. Awesome that you can take pictures while recording. This will definitely be a must take on our road trips !

I bought this camera to film outdoor activitys. Although this camera is not water proof. The outdoor video quality is very nice. I'm just learning how to use everything

Simple to use. fast charging - can even plug into vehicle USB port to charge with built in - attached USB charging cable which is great. Simple to download videos to PCC.

We looked at a couple of models and chose this one. We used it at our daughter's college graduation. We got a great video and the still pictures we took with it were very clwar.

It's really convenient to use this camera and not very expensive. The only part is that I can't use the power button effectively.

Great for simple vacation videos. Not the best under low light conditions though. If you don’t want to spend more than a couple hundred bucks go for it
