I need a new camcorder for my parents in-law for them to without a lot off buttons and gimmicks

This camera is easy to set up,to use. Love it! I found the set up to be smooth right out of the box. I would recommend this for anyone.

This was a good investment to record my kids games. Hands down best camera I've spent my money on!!!

Definitely a good buy for the price ( I paid $159-Black Friday). Good product for general recording. Only negative comment is this - it came up in a search for night vision; in the specs it says 'yes' for night vision; but it does not record in true night vision - in the dark. What it has is the ability to record in low light. Still happy with the purchase though. Not a good buy for anyone looking for a night vision recorder.

Have purchased Handycams as they have evolved over the last 20 years. Always reliable and seem indestructible. I've never had to replace one, just upgrade. User friendly too!

The handycam was fine. It was an open box purchase and i see why. The battery was replaced with an old one. The battery it came with lasted less than 2 hours and would not recharge. Had to buy a new one. Shame on whoever returned this.

Picked this up for live streaming our church service and have been very satisfied with it!

Great for the price, exceptional picture quality. We have it connected to a tv in another room so we can view our church services in another room.

Compact and easy to use for on the go quick filming. If you're not worried about internal memory, this is good camcorder for the price.

I intended to buy a different camera as a gift but it was sold out so this was my 2nd choice. I've always trusted Sony so i haven't been disappointed, yet.

This camara is awesome by recording and taking pictures. I bought this when I went to Colombia and I loved it the footage is amazing. I would recommend this to anybody.

This is a good no frills video camera for those people that are looking for an easy use camera. Open the display, press the record button and your recording.

Great small camcorder, light weight but powerful. Takes sharp videos, the zoom is awesome, easy to use. Long lasting battery. The charger usb is hide on the strap pocket. I have to look a video to find it out how to charge it. You can charge it directly on the usb socket or plug it with an extension female usb cord.

Simple easy to use.I just plug the cord into my desk top and download my content directly. Like that I can take still image while recording video.

For the price you can't beat it. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but does what it is supposed to do. Would have been better if it came with a memory card though

The camcorder is nice size, and light, so easily fits in any purse. However I was surprised how flimsy it felt, and trying to use the menu is very cumbersome. I'm considering returning it.

With being a mom to four kids, we need a small handy camcorder to record their daily fun. This was a replacement to my Samsung camcorder which was my companion for about 3 years.

Good camera for the price. Very light weight. Right now iMovie is not recognizing the camera when I connected it via the usb cord so I can't give it 5 stars.
