I bought this as a gift and the recipients have just arrived to me about the pictures and how great they are. They absolutely loved it.

I have a Sony 8mm camcorder. I bought the CX405 i can't believe how easy it is to operate it.

So far it is a good little camcorder. It is replacing a 10 year old Cannon I had. I wish the shutter was automatic instead of having to manually open and close it. I have yet to burn a dvd, but I hope it will be easy to use and user friendly. over all a pretty good product, but I'm not sure if it will last 10 years like my old Cannon did.

we use it mainly for weekend and day trips, great for capturing family moments, easy to use, no complaints. recommended.

Works excellent for what we're using it for, videoing sons basketball games for him to be able to watch and learn from.

I bought this because I tired of using my phone. Nice cam for the price. It does get just bit hot.

Very sleek and light weight to carry. Bought 128GB San-Disk card from BBY at $21 and the combo did the trick.

There’s no power button, it doesn’t tell you what time video was obtained, it takes a micro SD card which means you’ll have to buy an adapter unless you already use a camera that requires an adapter then you won’t have to worry about it. It doesn’t show time stamps for your video. If you’re a PI, this is not for you. It does take nice video though! It’s extremely lightweight. I REALLY want to return for another Canon, but it’s open box & I don’t think you can return or exchange open box. Oh well, my loss.
