Bought this camera for my daughter. Quick and easy set up. Battery life is fantastic and picture quality is good for capturing videos. Use the camera daily. Great purchase!!!! A must for anyone wanting to capture great memories!

Great little handycam for taking home videos or whatever you decide to use it for. The camera itself is very small, lightweight, and portable. Holds a charge for a very long time. I would recommend this item to friends.

I am surprised at how good this camera is. I was just looking for something simple & inexpensive to do a regular insurance video inventory of my business locations. This is pretty much perfect. The auto focus & exposure are exceptional for what is sold as an entry level camera. I am more than pleased. It does everything I need, and much more. I consider this Handycam a true bargain. I love it!

I film the social media for www.gaitsofharmony.webs.com ~ A therapeutic riding facility for children with special needs. A lot of my filming is done indoors in the very dusty arena, under dim lighting.... this camera does a GREAT job! Very easy to use! The battery life is long! I only wish it came with an SD instead of a micro. That was super annoying having to get extra accessories that didn't come with the camera. But, regardless, it's a GREAT camera!

Light weight and pretty compact makes it easy to carry. Pretty good under low lighting for the price point but not ideal. I recommend it for outdoor family events, but the picture is beautiful with proper lighting.

Was looking for a lightweight, inexpensive HD videocam for our son's basketball games and this camera met all of the criteria. Good quality, great price, easy to operate.

I purchased for a work event and it works great. Compact and light. Easy to setup and use. Video looks great and mic has good range. Plan to buy one for my personal use, too.

I bought this camera, which was on sale, to film my daughter's graduation. We haven't bought a dedicated video camera since our digital 8mm tape camera. WOW! This thing is amazing. The pluses: clear HD video with excellent sound recording, the camera makes files for each segment so drag and drop into your video editor is simple, great stills with some zoom. The minuses: The optical zoom sounds incredible, but in the store I noticed the advertised zoom is based on a fish-eye like original picture so the actual zoom from reality is about 3X. I bought it anyway and was very happy with the results. I have some concerns about how little it weighs, but that paid off (with the video stability turned on) when recording long sequences.

It took quite a bit of trial and error before I managed to get the hang of it but now it works easily. As usual, there is not enough info in the manual, but at least you do get one! The main drawback is that it washes out people's faces in very bright light, as on a stage where I shoot most of my stuff for my church. I need to leave the setting on auto because I often swing around to the congregation as there is interaction. Doing it on manual becomes too dark then. On the other hand, it does pretty well in other situations when the low light feature is utilized. Also handy, is that you can take photo's quite easily. Battery life is not bad and I've been able to get 90 minutes ok, but need to be careful on not zooming too much when I know I'll be shooting that long. Zoom is great and focuses pretty quickly.

I've had this little camera now for just over two years and it holds a very special place in my heart <3 I used this for my wedding and let me tell you EVERYONE had a ball passing this camcorder around and recording the night. First off, if you're only looking for great camera quality-Sony Handycam isn't your guy. You'd just be better off using your phone. Sometimes the picture randomly gets blurry and at night it doesn't do the best in low light conditions... But he's trying his best, okay? However, if you want a small, lightweight, that has great battery life, easy to use video camera/camcorder without all the bells and whistles (and you want to go back to a simpler time, when we had VHS tapes and Blockbuster---sigh---) then this little guy is great! Seriously though the video quality feels like I'm watching my old home videos on the VHS- which I love! All in all, this camera is well worth the buy---if you can still find it! So if you get the chance, just buy it and HAVE FUN!

This is a great little camcorder; easy to use; does a great zoom and wide angle; audio is very good; really easy to attach to my dash or put on a tripod For the price it's a better option than the Go Pro

Light weight and easy to use. Video playback looks good. The built-in usb cord is nice feature for fast transfer. Uses micro sd card that is good but for my usual editing software I cannot hear sound

Great little camcorder. Small enough, and super light. Almost didn’t buy it because cell phones do everything now, but the quality and flexibility this provides exceed even my iPhone X

Great zoom photos. We own a more expensive camera, but prefer this little camcorder for still photos. We take a lot of wildlife photos and the zoom is clear. It is also very light, easy to carry and operate.

So enjoying my new camcorder. Still learning how to use it. But I really like that it is light weight and easy to handle. Has a god quality zoom.

Easy to use and hook up to the tv. We bought this to film basketball games that my husband coaches. The size and weight is perfect. Not bulky and heavy and simple to set up.

I got this camera for my son who turned 8 and wanted to create some home videos and gaming videos for youtube. He has fun and its pretty user friendly. I do not like the night recording or in low light. In poor light this is pretty much a nogo.
