I have never had a bad experience with one in the past 20 years I’ve used them and if I replace one it’s because I’m upgrading. This is not high end but it will do for my daughters first camcorder

No steady stream though. You can move around to much. Just have to so small things. It's a easy cam to work. Great for beginners such as myself.

My only gripe is that the hdmi output is under the monitor door so that you have to unplug the cable before you can shut the camera off.
