Disappointed in a company with such a great reputa

Even with lighting, video playback is reminiscent of something recorded on a $79.00 Vivitar or something. Sony has been known to set quality standards even on entry level, but they dropped the ball hard on this one. Most beginners nowadays use their smartphones and then if passionate enough will upgrade to a camera. Video cameras with poor playback quality like this one is going to help seal the fate of the camcorder market and allow DSLR’s to become the choice filming option! I know the economy is rough right now, but it’s no excuse for putting out substandard electronics. Hopefully Sony will revamp the quality of even this base model so the world can truly see why consumers have a historical respect for the quality of this companies products

Good for a starter cam
