This camera is having charging and rec. problems!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi. I have had this Sony camcorder since May, 2019 and am very disappointed. It keeps on having charging and recording problems. The yellow warning light keeps coming on even though I have had the camcorder repaired by a Sony authorized dealer. I have had many Sony products in the past and present, with great luck, just not this camcorder. Sony please help, thanks.

If you keep experiencing the same issue the camera will have to be returned for repair. Please contact our customer support for further troubleshooting or potential repair.

Poor image/video quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's okay for the price. but beware there is a ton of static/noise in the image. meaning artifacts in the visual output itself tried many different settings to combat it, but to no avail. will be returning mine guess you get what you pay for!

VERY LOW Resolution Videos
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can shoot videos with the same resolution and audio using the camera on my phone. This product does not shoot in true "HD." If you want to view the videos on small devices (phone, tablet, etc) it's fine, but to display them on an HDTV it's an absolute embarrassment. Unfortunately, I guess you get what you pay for in this case. It explains why they are on clearance. I will be returning this product asap.

Hazy film on Playback

Terrible camera

It gets blurry during recording, keeps cutting in and out for no reason, and does not want to accept SD cards. I have to try several brand new cards before it will take one. It is now a very expensive paper weight

They skip and the uploads to PlayMemories online make them even worse! Don't pay attention to all of those glowing reviews...I bought this for my daughter's recital and I'm so disappointed!
