When i found out that there was a 80 gig...I was all over it. The best feature on it that sets it apart fom the 60 gig is the built in light. It help alot.

Don't buy if audio is important
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera primarily to interview old people for an oral history. The video image was secondary to the audio. The audio on this camcorder is not good. It has a built in microphone on top and the sound quality was terrible in a quiet room at 3 feet away. The sound was distant and unclear. It was unusable. I tried to find an external microphone. Eventually, I contacted a representative at the Sony website and I was told that Sony does not make an external microphone for this and similar models. SO IF AUDIO IS IMPORTANT, BUY A PRODUCT WHICH CAN BE USED WITH AN EXTERNAL MICROPHONE
