For the $199 that I purchased this for - it is a very good sound system… This is perfect for a little get together’s or something by the pool.. This is no means a huge sound system for a big party… The good thing about these is the more you buy (pair them) the better the sound but I just needed one to do it’s purpose listen to music around the house… Bring it outside when washing the car… Out by the pool etc. you’re not going to go to any high-end parties with this you’re looking at the $500 one

Awesome party speaker with lights. For the price well worth it.... not super portable but overall great sound... bass.

This speaker is awesome. It packs so much sound and bass. Plus the light show is pretty cool. I love how light it is and the fact that it is portable is even better. I can't wait to go camping with it. The only downside is that the lights are continuous while it's plugged in.

If you want big portable sound, this is the Bluetooth speaker you have been looking for. I was never a fan of Sony speakers but this one is a winner. The battery holds a charge for days (turn off the flashing light) and it is much lighter than it looks. I got mine on sale ($100 off) and that makes it a better deal than Beats or any of the table top speakers. It also come with some software you can download to tweak the sound with but after using it a few time I find that I don't need it. It plays great straight from my phone. The only problem I have is turning off the lights each time you use it (I wish there was a button to disable them permanently). Also once in a while I have trouble pairing them with different devices and I have to turn Bluetooth on/off to get it to search again. Other than that I think it is an AWESOME speaker with BIG sound!!!

It is loud enough for a loud party. And the battery last for a while. The lights are also cool.

Battery life has met expectations so far. Lights and DJ effects have been fun to play with. Lots of bass. Pretty sure I wouldn't have been nearly as satisfied, though, if I had paid anywhere near full price for it. Get it on sale if you can. Got mine on a great Cyber Monday deal and had some rewards to use, also. If I could catch the same sale price again, I might would get a second one to have a pair.

It creates nice sound and very portable. Can bring anywhere. Long hours of battery.

Very good speaker. Quite Bass heavy, but that's not a bad thing. Sound quality is very good for all the types of music I have played on it (electronic, reggae, soca, lo-fi, pop, hip hop & R&B). Haven't tested it with country yet. Light display is a fun feature. I don't like the fact that in order to have full access to control the lights and music through your phone, that you need to download 2 separate apps. Was unable to connect to my computer, even though it connected to my SONY SRS XB2. Called customer service and am about to send it in for repair. I think this is a one off issue and not characteristic of the speaker. At the reduced price that I was able to get it from Best Buy, I would definitely buy it again.

Great sound, light weight for its size. Easy to connect with Bluetooth. Have been very impressed with performance and value. Sony is a great brand with a great product. Great battery life as well! Get one today!

I went to Best Buy to look at SONOS speakers for my pool area. I have SONOS throughout my home and thought I would expand coverage outside for family gatherings until I came across these dynamic speakers. After listening to the speakers and finding out about its party chain features, I decided to give SONY a shot. After charging the speakers, I set it outside and WOW-- the sound was bumping!! The speaker kicks out remarkable bass with clear mids and highs. Additionally, I was able to play music for several hours without having to plug the speaker into a wall outlet. I am truly amazed at the quality of this speaker, especially considering I bought it on sale for $199. I highly recommend this awesome bluetooth speaker.

We used this at our T-Shirt party and it was absolutely awesome! Great sound for over 8 hours with multiple people playing their music!! Can't wait for our next tailgate!

I love the fact this speaker has a rechargeable battery. It's great for outdoor use and gets pretty loud. However, the bass can be overpowering and the highs are muffled. The only way to compensate is to download the Sony app and adjust the equalizer to your preference. Overall, this is a good portable speaker for the price.

I was looking for a speaker I could use at a family gathering of say 50 or so people. I have not tried it out in that setting yet, but I am confident the volume will suffice. I did try the microphone and it is great. I love this speaker. I downloaded the app with it and love it for controlling my music and using the DJ features. I use it in my house to listen to music. I take it outside to work in yard or sit on my deck. Very portable. Nice handle on top. It was heavier and sturdier than I thought it would be, but no too heavy to carry.

The sound quality and battery life on this is amazing, I definitely recommend this over the other models due to its high battery life and additional speakers. This this is loud and great for listening for yourself or a group of friends due to the dynamic multi-tweeter/subwoofer combination. The app made for the speakers is so-so, but has a couple neat features such as light control and EQ settings. If the lights get too annoying, they can be shut off for a more subtle mood. I have always been a fan of Sony’s speakers as they are a great price and competitive with other high name brands when it comes to quality!

This BT speaker is well worth it! It pairs easily with my cell phone. (In addition to other inputs.) It sounds great. It's plenty loud in a typical party room in a house or apartment. One time I paired 2 of them and they filled a small/medium hall for a party. The lights are a nice touch, but won't replace actual party lights. I use it plugged into power, so I don't know how long the charge lasts while in use. The handle on top makes it easy to carry. I docked 1 star because of the price - a little too steep.

This speaker does a decent job. I downloaded the music center app from Sony and was able to get the sound the way I wanted it for the most part. The battery life has been decent as well. I did expect the bass to be a little better due to the size of the speaker and it seems to be getting a little worse as time goes on. Range is about standard and volume is ok.

Audio System is very loud outside...clear sound w/no static indoor & outdoor...great on bluetooth...actually lasts the 14 hrs

I absolutely love this speaker! It sounds great! It was easy to pair to my apple products. The charge last forever. I'm not a fan of the light being on while charging. Because mostly it's charging when I'm sleeping. The extra bass sounds awesome especially when put in a corner! You can also pair it with your smart TV/Firestick for surround sound when watching. Definitely worth the price!

If you are looking for a bluetooth speaker that you can control with your cell phone this one is it! The strobe lights are a sweet add-on to an already powerful speaker. Need to charge your phone, there's a usb slot. Want to connect with an RCA cable, you can. Want to hook up a mic for karaoke, you can. Charge up and take it anywhere with its long lasting battery. Weighs under 20lbs for easy handle. Speaker is not waterproof.
